Abiko Curry, New York NY

One of the best Japanese curry spots in the city. Their menu is quite small, but you really only come here for the curry. Service is great–everyone is super friendly and they have all the covid protocols in place, including temperature checks and contact tracing. I got the chicken set, which came with the katsu and actual shredded chicken in the curry sauce. They have 5 or 6 spicy levels which is awesome for people who like spicy food. My fiancée got the second to last level and he was sweating. He loved it though!

Relaxed atmosphere and delicious Japanese comfort food. I really liked the chicken donburi I ordered, which was pretty filling. There are many interesting curry sets to choose from on the menu. Some of the sets can get a tad pricey for a curry dish, but generally everything is reasonably priced for the portions you get. I look forward to going back and trying more of the curry!

Food is average at best. Terrible customer service. While I was ordering, I asked the waiter some simple questions and he gave me a condescending attitude and answers to what I asked. Not the right way to treat customer. I left this place with 5% tip. They don’t deserve it

The creamy curry pasta is so good. I picked up my order, brought it home and 30 minutes into devouring my meal, the pasta is still warm and comforting. How to they do it? !
They also allow adjusting the spice level and it's not spicier because it's more curry, but it's actually spicy! Extra spicy level is the same level as hot chicken ramen if you need a spicy comparison.

Delicious Japanese curry spot. Got the vegetable curry and it was very flavorful and fresh tasting. I got the Level 3 spiciness and it was spicy! The ambiance was nice and it was very clean. Definitely recommend.

The food is always great and fresh, I always get the cream curry noodles. However, the staff there is very rude and inconsiderate. Once I came when it was packed, they gave us our check early while my friend was still eating and came up to us again later to say they gave the check. In general, the staff isn't as attentive and there's no friendly service. The food is great but their employees aren't.

I never tried Japaneese restaurant before and this is first time. We four of us went today. The food is very tasty. I came to know that japaneese recipes almost same as Indian. The curry taste exactly like indian curry. Go the spicy level 2. The 3 level is too spicy. They give complementary maso soup. The reason i am giving 4 out of five is restroom is not that much clean.crowd level is ok. You can easily get tables.

Perfect place for a quick bite! The meal set packs in quite a fair amount of food for the price - good deal! Love that you can select the spicy level to your liking (just a Level 1 was enough for me). Speedy and attentive service.

Great curry, unless you're really into spicy food, don't order anything above level 2 spicy. You've been warned!

Great food and a kind staff. The curry was very VERY strong but I will definitely eat here again. The food is very very spicy so order with caution and enjoy!

Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Service is fantastic. My only complaint is the offensive rap music they play during lunch. I can do without the "F" and "N" words while I dine.

Excellent curry at not too bad a price for the area. I would highly recommend getting the chicken set with melting cheese on it.

The manager is very rude and unprofessional. Dissatisfied with customer service. If you are not happy with your job then do yourself a favor and leave.

Pretty good location. The curry is very yummy. Offer lunch set for $9.99. Fast service, very clean as well.
The only reason that I gave 4 Stars out of 5 is because their Spanish guy, who is in charge of giving water and cleaning the table not very friendly.

As most of the location, once I sit down he served me ice water. So I requested “ hot tea”. He collected back the ice water and said “ PUTA”.

I mean the curry was ok, but i think they were just out to overwhelm you with the heat.i've had spicy where I can taste the intense spices & flavors. Abiko's curry is just spicy but flavorless.
Meh, a bit disappointing because I expected better since curry is in the business name.

Good food and these guys definitely know a thing or two about heat. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place, everything from the decor to the food and staff is awesome. This is a hidden gem of K-town.

The dishes here are fantastic. So far the pork set is my favorite, but I'm looking forward to trying the noodle combo. Go a step milder in curry spiciness than you're used to if it's your first time here.

Fantastic meal here. Value was great for the curry noodle set I had, and looks like even better lunch deals. Def check it out if you're a fan of curry, with rice, over pasta, or as noodle soup. Really rich curry with ability to modify the spice setting and additions from list of several toppings. Really worth the trip.
