I called and the person who spoke to me said check your upper thread. Normally that is the problem. He is right. I was doing wrong. I called other place. They didn't tell me how to solve the problem but told me to bring in the machine. I will start using them for my Bernina maintenance.

Above and Beyond is the place to go for everything related to sewing. I made a visit to see if my old Singer could be repaired. I got and I got very good advise and lots to think about. The selection of new machines was terrific and fairly priced.

The sales representatives that assisted me were very respectful, efficient, professional and pleasant. I did'nt wait long to get help as I entered the store I was greeted pleasantly, and the sales representative asked if I needed assistance. Their knowledge of each product is very excellent. I received all the products I went to buy. I was given a demonstration of the sewing machine I purchased. I had a very good experience shopping at Above and Beyond Creative Sewing.

She was very pleasant on the phone, took the order, and it went out right away. I just received the shipment and it was perfect. I stopped in here yesterday on a whim after a work call in the area. I'm so glad I did. This is the first, true sewing machine showroom floor I've seen, unlike any of the fabric shops. Rows of top of the line machines and the salesman Albert was exceptional. He helped me find a FMQ foot for my 1952 Singer 301 that works perfect. I also picked up some beautiful glass head pins and my new favorite rotatary cutter which is all metal, so much better than the cheap plastic one I was using. I just wish I lived closer but I will definitely be back when I am in the area!

I am a sewer and quilter. I needed to upgrade from a very old machine that worked good but was a little wary of the new digital machines. The owner and his assistants gave me a lot of personal attention and helped me by giving me a great deal on a Pfaff machine I could afford. I fell in love with my machine and quickly became super skilled at using her. It’s a beautiful big store with two huge rooms. It’s completely new as they recently moved from a location near by. They are super helpful and will answer questions over the phone. The assistants have helped me solve some quilting dilemmas as well and were interested in my projects. They have classes too. I get a lot of notions there and they have great fabrics that always seem to work for difficult design problems you might face. They gave my machine a tune up recently and they will carry it out to your car. Don’t waste your time driving to distant super stores for a great machine and a great price. You won’t get personal attention and the passion and heart that I see from the owners and staff here. Because of my machine purchase I’m thinking about starting a sewing business selling quilts and toss pillows. This place really inspired me and they understand creative people!

Went to get my machine fixed. I walked out wondering what they fixed. Whomever “fixed” the machine judging by their work didn’t put much effort in it. Whelp what can I do, I already circulated money that way.regretfully. The machines in the shop are nice that’s a plus.

I moved to South Jersey a few years ago. I happened to be in the area so I stopped in to purchase something. It was an item that they didn’t carry but they ordered it for me and had it shipped to my home. Everyone was so nice I was treated like a long lost relative. Ron and Diane have the best store ever! I miss their sewing classes and wish they weren’t so far away.

The staff are very knowledgeable about sewing machines. They did a great job fixing my old Singer and were able to show me options for a new machine when I’m ready to transition. They didn’t pressure me at all. I will definitely go back when it’s time to buy my next machines. They have great sewing classes as well.

My mother in law had an old Baby Lock (1970) needed repair. I took it to three different repair shops and none of them were able to complete the work. As a last resort through a recommendation from the last shop I reached out to Above and Beyond. Thankfully they were able to get the job done. They gave me an estimate, a time frame for the job, and came through like champs.

If they can’t do your repair, it cannot be done.

Everyone at Above and Beyond Sewing Center is knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. They service my Pfaff sewing machine and I am always so pleased with it. There is a wonderful selection of sewing items-threads, needles, fabric, stabilizers, etc. It is a pleasure to shop there and use their services. I highly recommend a visit.

This is one of the nicest sewing stores I’ve been to. The staff is very helpful and informative. They offer all of the newest embroidery and sewing machines at very competitive prices. The store is very well organized, so it’s easy to find any embroidery or sewing supplies that you may need. I will definitely be coming back to Above and Beyond Creative Sewing.

I traded in my serger for a new Bernina sewing machine and had such a great experience. I loved getting a demo of the machines I was interested in and then when I purchased one, I was able to try it out at home before taking the owners class. The one-on-one owners class was really helpful in getting questions answered and learning other tidbits about the machine. Everyone at the shop is welcoming, friendly, and patient - no question is silly.

I found the shop to be easy to find with its own parking lot. It's very organized and has a huge selection of different sewing related machines. Their selection was quite impressive. They also have supplies and special presser feet.

I'm very happy with my purchase and I especially love supporting a small business where you get the personalized touch. There aren't many of these sewing machine shops around these days, but this one is definitely worth making the trip for if you're looking for a new machine or supplies.
