A staple of NYC. I remember when it was a tiny place in the Village. Everybody is so nice there and they have all sorts of things. It is open all year round. No complaints from me.

Worst experience ever. I purchased a costume online a day before I needed the costume and scheduled an in person pickup for later that even. Never received confirmation so decided to come in person the next day. When walking into the store it was hectic but that is to be expected as Halloween approaches. I find a store associate to help me and the person tells me that they have 600 orders and they are trying to get all orders as fast as possible. I waited closely to where the boxes where being unpackaged to see if my order would come out. I waited 2 hours! I had to come to the conclusion my costume was lost as they took things out of the shipment boxes. Due to my observation most likely what happened was associates where just taking costumes out boxes and placing them on shelves and a costumer there bought it. For me I will never shop here or advise anybody to. If you do keep in mind you may not receive the costume you want. Also I heard an associate say “they keep taking orders and costumes are no longer available so what is the point”.

Only place you can get dressed in a room full of strangers in front of a dead politician and his girl. I kept my glasses on, I'm lady like that.

Customer service is top notch, 10/10. Although, I feel bad for their employee Rick, who was brutally and awesomely murdered by a crazy supernatural clown.

Really cool place, other than one of the employees following us around.never offering to help.just never more than 4 ft away and peeking around corners at us. Spent $300 on costumes, but almost walked out because of her.

Order a pair of shoes from here were way to tight been trying to get ahold of someone seeing I like upstate and can’t just drive here. Need to exchange but no reply Halloween came and gone then ask to return them and now they won’t take it back $78 down the dam drain never again

Grace was AMAZING and her energy unmatched! I felt so comfortable when she offered me a Tarot reading. She seems very knowledgeable and I recommend her services 100% her energy can make you the day

They have everything and anything your looking for. Plus the people working the magic shop are effing great. Gave my kids a little show and trick when we were there. We even bought a magic box for my future magician's lol.

I went to three Halloween costume shops today and this place was the best! You are greeted by animated scary characters which then leads you to three floors of costumes and everything you can possibly imagine. Downstairs houses the theatrical quality costumes! There’s even an on-site magician and psychic

Very helpful employees (was looking for adhesives for my prosthetics) plus the store itself is very cool. I went because I saw the store featured in Terrifier 2, and wanted to check it out!

This store is a mess! I told them to give me Dracula contact lenses and instead i get other ones! Hear what your customers want and dont give them false products? ! Im so angry

Great customer service. Great products. Was graciously pre warned about the long wait by customer service team who always seem to pick up no matter how busy they are and provide helpful information

Boy oh boy, what an experience. Its such an NYC institution. I enjoyed my experience, I surley wouldn't go the day before Halloween ever again. If I win a number I'd definitely get the costume I've always wanted, it was almost 3 grand.

BUYER BEWARE: NO RETURNS/EXCHANGES. Was excited to find this place and am always grateful for a year-round costume shop when you need something last minute, but was very disappointed to learn after braving the Halloween rush and spending an hour in line that they don’t take returns or exchanges, and are absolutely no-exceptions about it. My fault I guess for not reading the fine print on the receipt, but had the cashier informed me at purchase or there was a clear sign at the check out, I would have understood. I appreciate that the sales associate trying their best to ask management if I could at least do an exchange for store credit for my unused items, but ultimately management was firm that there was nothing to be done. Likely won’t be returning here, when I know I could find anything they have online (probably for cheaper) and make a return/exchange.

Great staff very helpful with my kid’s complicated costume they offered a lot of information and time making sure we were on the right track and no hustle or upsell

I’m not sure what I was expecting. I will definitely have to try again. After waiting for an hour in line the week before Halloween, I guess I was expecting more than mostly plastic cheap costumes for double online prices. Possibly there was some department that I didn’t see with custom and or authentic type costumes and accessories. But my first experience here was somewhat lackluster.

Had a reading by Grace! Was very insightful and impressed with what she was able to see in the cards and translate in a way that I was able to understand.

DO NOT PURCHASE ONLINE FOR PICKUP in store. I purchased online and when I arrived to the store they could not Picard my order. I was charged twice for the same item and didn’t receive the discount.
