When I was looking for a new hairdresser that specialized in natural hairstyles as well as alternative hairstyles, I found Marie Booth. When you leave her salon you leave with a smile on your face. Marie goes above and beyond to make sure your hair looks perfect.

I been going to Marie since September and she braids my daughter's hair with two- strand twists and it always comes out perfect and she is so gentle with her hair. I recommend that you go to her because her prices are so reasonable.

The experience here is holistic. Marie is more than my hairdresser now, she's like family. As someone that's always restless when it comes to hair She's helped me transition between color from BLUE TO BLACK! And hair type from KINKY TO RELAXED! And everything in-between. I am hooked

The issue with Marie has nothing to do with her work as a hairstylist, but everything to do with the way she communicates with her clients. My mom and I had gotten our hair done by her many times but communication was always the problem, or lack of. As a hairstylist she is rarely on her phone so making appointments with her via text is difficult because she will take DAYS to get back to you. There was a time where we needed to change an appointment for a family emergency which she knew the circumstances of and we needed to change the date of the appointment. We contacted her on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday telling her to contact us when she could and no response. At the same time she was also actively posting her work on her instagram story but not contacting us after the multiple texts and calls that were sent. By the time she contacted us about the appointment change it was the next week and we were already on our way out the state. When confronted with this she made multiple excuses for herself and took NO accountability what so ever despite all of the proof that there was that she did not contact us for a week. I hope that this is not a pattern she has with her other clients. We had to quickly find someone else to do our hair, which was not easy to do. We were loyal customers to her and she failed us in a time of need!

This was my first time but not by last time going to Absolutely Elegant hair salon. She is a in this industry.
Marie is the best of the best. She is very gentle with your hair, knowledgeable and helpful. I will be returning.

I am new to the area and had a stylist cancel on me at the last minute. I was traveling in less than 24hrs for vacation. I contacted absolutely elegant and she did not hesitate to help even with a full schedule. She treated my hair recommended a style and it was ABSOLUTELY ELEGANT! My appointment with Marie was amazing. I’ve been going to Marie for a while now and she’s perfect. I usually get two strand twist and the always come out great. If you make an appointment you are getting great quality hair care. From the wash to the blowdry to the style its all 10/10. As a guy I completely recommend Marie to anyone who wants to get their har done nicely.
