I tried to order a pineapple coconut cake and sweet potato pie from Abu’s bakery. I called five days before my event and was told to call back 48 hours before the event because my order will be lost if they take it now and it there is no need to leave a down payment. That tells me that they are irresponsible and unable to accommodate the volume of orders. I called back 48 before my event and no answer. No answering service and, I was unable to place an order online. The phone rung out. It’s unprofessional and I honestly expected more.

I've been coming weekly. The bean pies are too good. I try to tell every friend to try them out. 10/10 good customer service also.

Great food. As the holidays come up I recommend their baked goods. The sweet potato pie was good, the pound cake was good. The strawberry cake was really good I should have gotten two. I am trying the bean pie today. I'm definitely going back.

Heck yeah that bean pie! They sell affordable individual Teeny Beanie pies for a couple bucks which are perfect for when you’re walking by and just crave a snack

The absolute most delicious bean pies I've ever had.esp heated up and served a la mode with vanilla ice cream! The sweet potato pie is also pretty damn tasty!

They continually mess up Uber Eats orders. 2nd time in two weeks they sent banana pudding instead of bread pudding. They have been alerted to mistake and were rude on phone. Terrible and negligent customer service… will no longer be supporting

Love everything I’ve had so far. I don’t want to tell you how much I love there brownies because I don’t want them to be sold out? But they are amazing. The bean pies OMG delicious & the banana bread just try them out I don’t want to be greedy an tell all that I’ve tried

I ordered the pineapple coconut cake, red velvet, mini sweet potato pie, and banana pudding. The cakes was DRY and CHALKY in texture. The banana pudding was very warm and not chilled. It appeared unfinished as if it didn’t set. The sweet potato filling was okay but the crust was dry and had the texture of boxed cookies

One the best bakeries in Brooklyn - hands down, freshly baked quality ingredients. That bean pie and sweet potato pie deliciously? ! Ain't no joke!

I can not say enough good things about Abu's. I initially had a small sweet potato pie at Atlantic Antic one year and I was in love. Every Antic I looked forward to my pie before going back to Staten Island.
This year I now live in Brooklyn and I found them again at the Antic. I actually took notice of where they're located. One day I was jonesing for sweets and Abu's popped up in my UberEats, I was in heaven
So for Thanksgiving I ordered a whole sweet potato pie, bought a slice of almost every cake, a brownie and a beef pattie.
I was happy and my family was ecstatic for all the different treats.
Sweet potato pie is my #1. The pound cake is my 2nd contender and brownie ties with the pound cake
I highly suggest you stop by or order. They're in between Nostrand and Franklin on the A/C. At the Antic and in the shop I felt welcome. The staff were attentive and courteous. Will be patronizing this location for many years to come.

Best bean pies in NY hands down. Their brownies are also super delicious. I have been coming here for years and of course they never disappoint.

The cakes are just ok for me! The cakes taste good but, they're just not as moist and fluffy enough for me. I like my cakes to taste homemade, and not so heavy & tight as if it was mixed with box cake mix. I still stop by for a slice of "Red Velvet or Carrot Cake" in passing or just because.from time to time
