Great products but pricing is double to 2/3 higher than it should be.lead times are terrible

Review of out multi lift Brad and Corinna Smith. First off I would like to speak of the customer service from Access Unlimited. The service provided is unparalleled in today’s world. We first purchased our multi lift in 2020 and covid was raging. Living in Canada and the boarder was closed we reached out to the team at Access Unlimited and were treated like royalty. Everyone we spoke to was well informed and very professional. I had some concerns as to how my installation would be handled with shipping issues and what not in such uncertain times. Rest assured that regardless of the hurdles that were involved with the distance to our home and being in a different country everything was handled in a very timely manner. Once the details were worked out our multi lift was delivered speedily. Full instructions were given and we were able to begin using our multi lift immediately. After a few weeks I decided that we might be better suited for the rear sliding door option for our minivan. That option was shipped to our home within two days and Access Umlimited even reached out to our local shop either instructions on the installation directly with the technician who was to do the installation. Once again I was astonished by the level of customer service that I was receiving. Never in my 60 years on this planet had I ever been taken care of by any company at this level. They were with us every single step of the way. Nothing was going to stop them from seeing to my every single need. Complete satisfaction is guaranteed from the start. Here we are 4 years later with our multi lift still functioning perfectly and we use it every single day and guess what? I received a phone call today from you guessed it Access Unlimited just reaching out making sure we were doing well. For anyone considering purchasing any product from this company I can assure you they never stop ever. We used to park at the back of parking lots as loading and unloading my wife into the van was a difficult experience but now with our multi lift we are right up front and my wife has dignity as everyone is so impressed by this unit and with the experience we have using it is so simple and smooth. One last note we get extreme weather conditions up here in Canada and nothing affects the functionality of our mult lift. Access Unlimited consulted with me regarding a chair lift for the inside of one of our vehicles for my daughter. Everyone from the President to the production floor took ownership of our problem, and provided the Mulit Lift solution. By ownership, I mean they took charge and fabricated the parts needed to install the lift into the rear hatch area of the car, contracted with a local auto shop for the install, and then monitored that install with the shop, at no extra cost. After we took delivery they arranged a conference call with video feed to allow them to review the lift set up with the chair, and our understanding of how to safely work the lift. Today, after a few months of service they email or call every now and then to check on how the system is performing. They took all the co-ordination and worry out of the situation to deliver a sound solution. Finding a full service, customer oriented company today is nearly impossible, but Access Unlimited "gets it" when it comes to total customer service. I recommend you give them a call with your mobility concerns and needs. You won't be disappointed.

From the first correspondence with Tom through out the entire process the team at Access Unlimited, My wife and I felt like they understood the issues of mobility hampering everyday life. The professionalism and empathy that was shown through out the order process trainings was Top notch. I had had a conversation with Tom in the Start of our journey and was told that there was a very particular set of skills and standards everyone was expected to adhere to. That is very apparent in everyone and process we dealt with. If all company's ran on the principals that Access Unlimited does there would be not company that would fail. They set the bar pretty high. Every employee seemed very content and happy to help. It was a great comfort with what had happen to my wife to have the help to get her mobile again and have some more freedom to enjoy life a little more. If you have a mobility issue they can help their engineers are always up to a good challenge.

Recently purchased a Mulit-lift, Speedybar, and Sling from Access Unlimited. Due to wife's illness I used a substitute patient to go through my training. The trainer was most helpful.

Yesterday I did my first wheelchair to car transfer with my wife and the Multi-Lift system. It went exceeding well, no effort and no anxiety on my wife's part. No fears of injuring my wife during a "one person transfer. "

I am extremely pleased with the equipment, and all of the TEAM at Access Unlimited. They have produced a First Class system and work closely with the client/patient to achieve excellent results.

I would recommend them to anyone needing this type of equipment.

It is easy to operate and has increased transfer safety for everyone involved.

Access Unlimited also helped us get state insurance approval, and get the mount professionally installed.
As a mechanical engineer I find the design both practical and versatile.
We like having the option to someday add a mount in our home.
It's great to have the ability to place the sling while the person is already seated.

Over the last 5 years we have purchased multiple pieces of equipment and mounts from Access Unlimited. The manufacture of each piece has been of the highest quality. Since each system is custom made, delivery will vary. But I never felt it was excessive.
The main lift for our 2017 Ford Transit 150 medium height Van is great. It gets my wife into the passenger seat easily. That was one of her greatest desires. Sit in the passenger seat again. Not a wheelchair in the passenger position. The bonus is that the mount uses the passenger seat frame for attachment. Thus creating very few modifications to the van interior. When it comes time to sell the van it can be sold with the lift or turned back into an unmodified passenger van.
In the rear of the van we have a mount and second lift. We use that for lifting wheelchairs or anything else we need help lifting into the van.
We have a mount on our boat trailer that allows us to use the van lift and a special sling to place her in the boat.
We have their Hoyer style lift that uses any of the lift mechanisms. The advantage to that is the lower frame/wheel height. It easily fits under most standard bed frames. We even used it at a surgery center to put her in one of their beds. It rolled right under the low frame of the bed.
We have a wall installed mount and complete lift assembly for her bedroom. It is great for getting her in/out of the hospital bed several times a day.
The mounts are all the same design. So any lift can be used in any location. The batteries are interchangeable. If needed you can use one of compact Lithium Ion "Jump Starter" batteries to power the lift in emergencies
Their training is thorough and done via Zoom. Their staff is readily available to answer any questions. There have been no repairs required.
Yes I am a big fan of this company and their products and remain so after 5 years of using their equipment. Never hesitated to add systems.
