My experience is very consistent with these other reviewers. Awful slumlords who never resolve any issues until you call HPD on them and are forced to come fix it. We had to replace a lock they installed out of our own pocket. It was so bad the locksmith was perplexed on how it worked (spoiler, it didn’t). This is despite us repeatedly requesting them to fix the lock which they refused to do. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. The only reason their rating is even 3.6 is because I’m sure someone that works there is juicing the stats. These people, I cannot stress enough, are maliciously incompetent and morally bankrupt. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Unresponsive and neglectful. Pretty sure they don't actually manage any of the buildings on their company website. Not sure what their deal is, but from experience I can tell you that this is not a good company to work with.
Special shout outs to Avrumi & his predecessor Manny for shirking all responsibilities. They're exceptionally good at cashing rent, however. Attached are some fun lil memories of our move-in day. Manny had the gall to tell me that he "would love to live in a place like this" to my face, standing in front of exposed wiring. Also, that isn't even my furniture in the pictures!

My experience is completely consistent with the others who are complaining. When I viewed the place it was quite dirty (had clearly just been lived in) and the bathtub faucet was leaking pretty badly. My leasing agent told me this would all be addressed by the move-in date. Here we are three months on and nothing has been done.

When I call they tell me "everything will be resolved shortly". Nothing ever is. And then they regularly go for a week or longer without even picking up the phone. I'm convinced they have my number saved and they're avoiding me intentionally.

When I moved in there was no lock on the door. It took them two weeks to get someone out here to get that fixed. They dropped off the face of the planet for an entire week during this time - and I had no lock! It was distressing to say the least.

This is a dishonest business. Their business model is to bleed their tenants and do the bare minimum. I'm already preparing for them to fight me on the security deposit.

Do NOT sign a lease with AccuTrust.

Do not rent from this property management. They will scam you and then ghost you. They will not reply to their emails, phone calls, messages, etc. When we first moved in, the previous tenants left all of their belongings with rotten food in the fridge. It took the management property two weeks to make the apartment livable, since they did not check the apartment after the previous tenants left and then blamed us for moving in on the day of our lease and that "we should have waited a week to move in". They told us we would have a washer and dryer, but they didn't tell us it was the previous tenant's tiny washer with mold that would only wash one blanket at a time. They were not even hooked up correctly and had a backup of the previous tenant's lint that almost caused a fire. We also had a severely leaking ceiling that took them forever to fix. They would not send exterminators. When we left, we cleaned and took videos and photos as evidence of how we left it. We had to pester them for weeks just to get part of our security deposit back. They took the other part "because we didn't paint" after we moved out. When I filed a complaint with the District Attorney, they then changed their story and said we left damages to the apartment. They refuse to send evidence of the damages or receipt of fixing them. They do not reply to phone calls or emails demanding proof. This is not the first time they have scammed a tenant and it will not be their last.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is by far the WORST property management company I have ever dealt with. First off, I want to mention this company replaced our old property management. We received no confirmation about a lease renewal even after we reached out. One of their employees, Rose, called us up randomly one day and said they were going up on our rent way more than the they were legally allowed to. We gave them a counter offer WHICH we heard back they accepted. Then weeks past with zero communication again. We tried to reach out to confirm when we could sign our new lease. When i finally got a hold of them, they said they were withdrawing the counter offer and "forgot" to tell us - verbatim their words. That's when we finally decided to move out because we were lied to and the rent amount they were asking for was above the maximum set by the good cause act in the city of Newburgh. On top of this, they presented us with an outdated lease document to sign with stipulations that were against New York state renting laws. One of them being their late fee was set higher than New York state maximum. Furthermore what they tried to have us sign via docu-sign did not match the document if you tried to download it, it was almost like we were signing something they could only see on their end and hid many clauses. When we finally were able to move out, we were informed by one of the maintenance crew that this company buys up properties, hire immigrants (specifically Mexicans) that don't speak any english so they can take advantage of them working for less/under the books. On top of all this, they took months to return our security deposit. We had to file against them with the Attorney General just to get our security deposit back. They NEVER returned our pet deposit to this day and mind you, we have tried to reach out several times but this company purposely ignores you. Rose Luciano just kept lying to us and said she would "forget. " If this is your job to manage property, why would you FORGET your tenants? Eli Fisher was also extremely sketchy in not returning our calls when they back tracked on the counter offer and ghosted us. This is a horrible company that abuse immigrants' work and only intend to push you out after making profit on you. After plenty of research, this company goes by several different names and buys up as much property in one area as a way to control it. Please be wary to NOT to do any business with this company.
