Extremely rude. The barber was impatient and insulted me multiple times, saying that my hair is "the worst type of hair to work with. " Made me feel super uncomfortable. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Don't go here. Don't. The owners here are ridiculous with their attitude towards customers. They take customers for granted. Forget about the quality of the haircut. Politeness and service-mindedness should always come first for any pay-for-service type business. From experience, I don't see hope in their terrible attitude changing for the better. Owners, don't question "why" when you read this; if a customer thinks negatively of your service, there is always a definite reason "why". Don't question or argue like you do in some of your replies to other bad reviews, it's pathetic. Take it in, get better, do better. Never going here again.

Great hair salon for Asian hair! The barber was very nice and was very helpful when I asked about changing my hairstyle, and he gave helpful advice on how to grow out portions of my hair and how to style it. The haircut itself is very professional and the best haircut I have gotten in Ithaca in many years. The service also includes two hair washes and blow dry, for a very good price of $27 dollars. Highly recommend and I will be coming here for haircuts in the future.

Great communication and solid skills! Definitely recommend if you want a classic hairstyle. Stylist also has knowledge about hairstyles for curly Asian hair, which is a plus. Would come again!

Asked to cut for no more than 6 inches. However, he cut almost half of my upper body’s length. My hair now doesn’t even reach my shoulders… Bad bad bad bad skills! Very high price, cost me more than $40, definitely overpriced! Please go to Rochester, Syracuse or any other city. Not even worth $10 here!

I came here for my haircut a few months ago and had a great experience. They were quick and professional, and all for a great price. I came back for a digital perm recently. Again, i was super pleased with the results. They took great care to do a good job, and it showed in the end. I will definitely come back!

Haircut: quick, efficient, and responds to request closely
Service: concise talks with hairdresser and receptionist, so it’s very helpful to an introvert like me

Went to Ace for a haircut and a digital perm today. Very professional service and the hairstylist is very experienced with Asian hair. Result exceeded my expectations and the price was reasonable too. Will definitely come again!

Definitely overpriced. 30$ for a man’s haircut in Ithaca is the same amount or more than the money I spent on a great haircut in Chinatown NYC. Anyways the haircut was also mediocre not to mention the minimum customer service. Seems like they just wanna rush you through the entire process since you only have a 30min slot. Didn’t feel welcomed and didn’t get asked if the haircut was ok. Had to pay right away and leave. Hope they could work on their attitude and customer service: please be kind to your customers, one first step could be saying hi and thank you. ;)

Horrible haircut: top is way too long relative to the sides, refused to fix it, and is overpriced.
Been here multiple times hoping for a better job but consistently let down.
My dad can do a better job and he just started learning during the pandemic.

Just went there, I don’t think the comments are being fair, you can’t ask someone to change their personalities. The hair dresser is fantastic, he’s professional and skillful, so he’s not a talker, so what? Highly recommended!
