ACME Markets, Goldens Bridge NY

What is going on with the hot rotisserie chickens? I swear they are not chickens but parakeets. The smallest hot cooked birds ever. This is getting crazy. You can barely see them in the hot food bag. The price is the same though. I bet they pay the distributor by the pound, then they sell the chicken as each. This would barely feed one person for one meal.

We were there recently. The item scanned the wrong price, went to check with the cashier and we were correct. Manager got involved and was very rude to the cashier, didn't believe the cashier and went to see for herself. Later, manager was again nasty to the cashier, because she had to authorize the price change on the computer. Seemed it was too much work for her! The cashier was not at fault. In fact, we felt bad for the treatment that she had to endure.

My order was Horrible my food came in a plastic garbage bag my bread was smashed My poultry, cold cuts, fruit was in the same bag, Oreo cake decoration smooshed (not in bag) (Grocery store boxes think about it)! Helium balloon which should have lasted for 5 days or more only lasted that day. Flowers were nicely wrapped and when you open them you knew why they were dying and two were broken $17 (not the ones I picked) this was a store replacement and proceeds goes to the veterans which was a great! The delivery person Received a $10 tip. The service should’ve been better will never order from them again take pride in what you do.

The woman who is always ringing up at 10 items or less tweaks out on you if you’re buying alcohol with someone else and you don’t all have ID. Like I understand she has to ask but she starts going nuts smashing her screen and yelling at you before you can even open your wallet. It’s okay though cuz the people at the liquor store next door don’t act like that so I just go there now.

Pretty good selections, clean. Prices to be expected for the area. Could use self-checkout.

What I care about when shopping for groceries is fruits and vegetables. Here they are fresh and tasty 4/5 times. So I will go with 4/5 stars.

Not very good, produce is bad be careful for lots of outdated meats cold cuts and items, and getting expensive more than ever!

Well, sometimes they have a nice little sale there and it really does have some value to it, the prices are almost $2 more there for things than other stores that I'm used to it's more of a convenience store for me, people who work there are helpful and that they really are very nice, I wish corporate would learn to control their air conditioning it is so cold in that store that you do not want to spend any more than 4 minutes there to shop because it's unbearably cold for some of the older folks who live in the area that might have health issues it's painful to go into that store

Like the one in Brewster and the A&P s they replaced this ACME in Goldens Bridge has produce that I think is poor and overpriced.

I’ve given this place so many tries because I live close but there’s always a handful of items on my list they either don’t have or sold out of. I just can’t with this place anymore. I’d rather just drive the distance and know everything I need will be there.

Clean, good parking. They generally have what I am looking for, however, they did not have any type of gluten-free beer available.

This changed rating is for the ACME in Brewster, We were there yesterday and thers has been a dramatic improvement. Produce was very good and prices were lower.

Wasn't crowded, but they were out of cart wipes and there was no way to know if they had been disinfected. Hand sanitizer was hard to find as well. It was only at the chexkniut lines. Shame

The sell expired goods there. On more than one occasion I've had to either throw away baby food or return them. Shopping afterwards I've seen my returned items back on the shelves

The store was clean, had a great selection and the employees were friendly. My only negative is that the aisles are pretty tight but it's because of their wide variety of items.
