Adirondac Rafting Co. - Hudson River Base, Indian Lake NY

Super fun rafting experience with this company. Very accommodating, very helpful, guides are amazing. My crew had an amazing time!

I came here last week with a group of my coworkers for our professional development day to do some team bonding (we’re 3k/PreK teachers). Almost all of us had never gone rafting before and were apprehensive, but the amazing staff here made us feel so comfortable and safe! Much of our school staff moved here from Ukraine and are still learning English, so the patience of the raft guides during translations was greatly appreciated!

Drew was my guide and I really couldn't have asked for anyone better. It was an absolute pleasure spending the day with him! Not to mention, the scenery along the river is absolutely stunning. I literally could’ve stayed there forever! I would love to come back when the school year ends!

Awesome! Our instructor Mo was super cool and knowledgeable about the forrest around us the whole ride and shared fun facts with us which was awesome. The other instructors were cool as well! They all had great energy and made the day super fun and worth it! The only thing i would change for next time is calling ahead and seeing what the water level is like before I book. The higher it is, the rougher the ride and I was hoping for a rougher ride but it was still a blast! Highly recommend!

From start to finish, an outstanding experience. My 15 and 17 year old and I were first timers, and the staff was superb with explaining how things would go, what to do (and not to do) in the raft, and everything else in between. If our guide Mo isn't the best around, I can't imagine anyone else being even the slightest bit better. She was energetic, helpful, funny and stern when necessary. She made the experience that much better. Throw in a delicious turkey sandwich, some chips, cookies and iced tea, and the day was next to perfect. Can't recommend this company enough!

My daughter and I had a great time white water rafting! Our guide was funny and entertaining! He was also very knowledgeable about the local area and great at giving you a wonderful ride down the rapids in a safe and exciting way! All the staff were friendly and very helpful! My daughter has a lot of food allergies and they were great about letting us bring her own food on the trip. We would highly recommend this company!

An amazing company with fun and knowledgeable guides. These people know the river. Safety conscious and informative. We had a fantastic time. 3rd trip with them, and we'll be back!

These guys are the best. My wife and I have gone 4 times in the last few years. Our guides, Drew and Brad were excellent. Highly recommend them.

We had an absolutely fantastic day on the Hudson River whitewater rafting trip with Adirondac Rafting Company. They run an extremely professional operation with knowledgable and friendly guides. Definitely one of the best days EVER for our 9 year old son. Our family is going to make this an annual tradition during our visits to the Adirondacks!

We are thrilled with the experience we had with Adirondac Rafting Company! As an all adult raft, Dwight got us into some of the best rapids for an exhilarating experience. His corney jokes and river history made added to a great trip. We would highly recommend them!

This was truly a fantastic day with family! Our guides were extremally accommodating and very personable. Our two rafts had a lot of laughs. Thank you to our guides for putting up with our shenanigans. We felt at ease instantly with the expertise this staff holds in navigating the rapids.

Went on a girls trip with my 2 daughters and my sister. We were all first timers, it rained most of the trip, but we didn’t even notice. Our guide Matt was great and knowledgeable as was the entire staff. We had the best time, all around a great experience!

Fantastic guides and great and exhilarating experience! Definitely a unique and fun experience for both family and friends. Definitely be sure to get a towel and extra clothes cause you will definitely get wet!

The white water rafting here was so fun! My family and 2 other families went together and we had a blast. Our guide was Brad, and he was very knowledgeable and experienced. He taught us many things about rivers, and even did some tricks with us, such as getting purposefully caught in a hydraulic so we could get splashed and have our entire boat shook. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a fun time near lake placid and likes water activities.

I had an awesome time. Our guide looked out for me, made sure I was comfortable, and answered all my questions. He showed us several cool rafting tricks coaching us thru them, and made the trip very enjoyable. I can't wait to go back for another trip. I'm trying to gather another group to go again soon.

Nice people. Dan was our rafting guide.
I did 5 rafting trips in PA, TN and WV before hudson river gorge. Dan has been best guide so far. He has excellent knowledge about the river and it's nature at different water levels. He makes sure that you enjoy the rapiids and are in safe hands.
They provide nice light sandwich at lunch break.
I will again do rafting next year with the same company.
