My sign was awesome. Jim is very good at return emails and getting the job done. We placed our order and within a week it was ready for pickup. Awesome place to do business with.

Adirondack Jim is an incredible artist! I had an idea in my head of what the sign would be, but Jim absolutely brought it to life. He worked with me to come up with a design that would fit my vision and had numerous suggestions on how things could be tweaked to get to that end result. In the end, I gave Jim some artistic freedom with the specific font and color, and I could not be happier with the result. He knew how to make this piece shine and I'm grateful for all of the hard work he put into this! I absolutely recommend getting a sign made from Jim, the cost was extremely reasonable, he's wonderful to work with, and the final result speaks for itself!

After paying for a custom sign in full in April and being given an estimated completion date of 8 weeks, I reached out to Jim in June and was told he was behind. I reached out again in July and received no response.then August. Then again in August was told my sign would ship within 2 weeks. I reached out several more times requesting a refund if my order was unable to be completed. September and October go by and I'm assured, again, it's "top of the list" (Jim's words). I tell him I'm disappointed in the service as his own website mentions being communicative and up front with his customers and that after 7 MONTHS, he should be able to provide an estimated ship date or a refund (see screen shot below from his own website). Let me assure you, he is not only not responsive, but had the audacity to say that asking for my order was negativity he wanted to "walk away from". Meanwhile I'm still waiting for a refund on product undelivered, now almost in December.

His response to another customer who had a similar experience last year was dismissive in the extreme, and I should have taken that review more seriously prior to agreeing to give this business any money

I contacted Jim to make a trail marker sign for my daughter’s wedding in October 2020. Due to COVID, the wedding had to be postponed until October 2021. I again contacted Jim to see about the possibility of changing the sign to the new date. He agreed, worked his magic, and updated the sign with the new wedding date. The sign was beautiful, and added such an unique touch to an Adirondack wedding. I can’t say enough about Adirondack Jim’s skills and customer service!

I had him make a custom sign for my wife's first horse. He asked for the story behind it which I thought was strange at first. It then took awhile for the sign to be completed. He did send me some pics of it before it was finished. Well, I am impressed with the quality of the wood, the gold leaf paint and the carving of her horses head. It was well worth the wait and now I understand why the Artist requested the story. Awesome work and quality of the sign shows why you cannot rush an artist. My wife loves the sign so much she does not want to put it own the stall door in the barn.

Purchased an outdoor trail register from Jim as a Christmas present and could not be more thrilled with the end product. So beautifully made and I cannot wait to give it as a gift! I would recommend Adirondack Jim's Carved Signs.

The quality and uniqueness is amazing. Artist is very easy to work with, and loves what he does. My sign will live in Speculator, NY and is solid oak, heavy, legit, and one of a kind. I highly recommend this company. My only advice is make sure you order months in advance, as I thought it would be a 2-3 week process. It took 3 months, but well worth the wait.

Could not be happier with the custom sign that Jim made us for our lakefront camp. He was very easy to work with; gave me great creative feedback yet incorporated my ideas into the project. He used a beautiful piece of oak, lovely lettering that fit my aesthetic and a top coat that looks like it will hold up for years outdoors. The price was reasonable as well. I highly recommend his work and will be loving our Adirondacky sign for years.
