Adiva Beauty Bar African reviews
7Horrible experience they said they couldn't braid my hair and said that my mother should of let them wash it blow dry it and blow drying would ruin my curly hair, said my mom was lazy
I went here for cornrow braids, it was terribly done. The braider braided my hair too tight and it caused me to get a bald spot in the center of my head. My hair wasn’t braided neatly at all. The back of my hair wasn’t properly tucked in under the braiding hair. The braids were very thin and I can see where she added in the hair because a piece of it was hanging out.
I went in to the lady because I wanted a refund because of my bad experience. They told me that it was my fault because my hair is short and natural and because I didn’t buy the right color hair it didn’t look nice. I asked to speak to the owner of the salon and they told me they don’t know who she is.
Very rude and unprofessional. I would never do business with them again.
I like my hair style but not so much the braids. I got 2 French braids.could've been neater. The stylist was physical aggressive. She pulled the dry off my head so hard & quick, she didn't realize she hurt the back of my head. Right BEFORE going under the dryer, she puts blk gel on my hair and left a lot of gel on my hoodie. Obviously she knew it was gel there and didn't give 2 s$! % about it
Love them! Great service I came in around 11: 45 I was told to come back for an appointment at 1pm. And I was seen at that time. The shop is clean. I love my hair style. Prices are affordable! Definitely will be back.
Shop is clean, stylists are very kind and did the style exactly how I wanted it. I will def be back for more braiding styles.
My first service here was knotless braids. The people were professional and welcoming. My braids came out looking amazing. My hair grows out fast so I had to get it rebraided. Scheduling an appointment was easy with the owner through Instagram. I went in and within and hour I was finish. This is the best service I ever experience with any African hair braiding salon. The cost is very fair. The braids last long. I would recommend this salon to anyone.
I went into the shop on Saturday and scheduled an appointment for Sunday (the next day) at 11. I arrived around 10: 20 am to let her know i was in the area and asked what payment method I needed. She said she would let the braider know and she would call me back to let me know when she would be there. I didn’t receive any call. I waited until 11: 15 and called, I was sent to voicemail. I then sent a text, no answer. I waited outside the shop until 11: 50 and no one ever showed up. VERY unprofessional and disrespectful. If you know you’re going to be late or cannot make it, let the client know. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
