Another great visit today with the best Dermatologist ever, Dr. Suzanne Friedler!
I've had skin cancer issues for more than a decade, but thanks to Dr. Friedler, they've all been caught early and treated successfully. Not only is Dr. Friedler great, so is the staff at Advanced Dermatology.

I went to see Dr Friedler for a few problems. I was seen 45 minutes after my scheduled time. I decided to purchase a chemical peel package which was $1750 for 6 sessions. The actual treatment takes less than 5 minutes but they have been consistently late for at least 45 minutes. They also bill my insurance every time I visit even though it’s a cosmetic treatment and I paid out of pocket. Dr Frielder is very kind but always in a rush. They always forget the areas they’re supposed to apply the chemicals on and don’t apply the chemicals thoroughly. I will not be returning for cosmetic procedures after my sessions are completed as I expect a better service when I’m paying out of pocket. However, I would come back for a regular visit that is covered by my insurance and make sure it’s a day I have plenty of time since waiting is always long. I don’t understand why some doctors book more patients than they can handle and run late. I don’t mind 10-15 minutes but there were times where I waited over an hour. It costs me near $300 for a 5 minute treatment with a looooooooong wait. Unacceptable. My last visit was scheduled at 12: 15 and I didn’t leave until 1: 30. Not to mention, mid-procedure, the doctor answered a personal, non-emergency, phone call with gloved hands and continued the procedure with the same gloves. She continued to have a full conversation as she was carelessly continuing the procedure. This doesn’t help the fact that I’m there to get rid of acne and the dr is touching her phone and contaminating my back. She offered to sell me more sessions and I declined and explained how the long wait is a problem for me. She goes “I’m a doctor and sometimes I go to visit a doctor and I wait over an hour. They don’t give me a special professional treatment”
I thought that was unnecessary especially because it gives people the impression that doctors should get a special treatment and wait less. Next time I will go to a legit cosmetic doctor that has good bedside manners and will not make me wait an hour for such basic treatment. They’re also very inconsistent with the procedure. Sometimes they let it dry for 5 minutes then neutralize and times they start neutralizing right away. I got it done 5 times and it’s been a different process every single time.

Julia is the best, she truly cares about her patients. Most doctors in this time era only care about money. She went about and beyond.

All the employees were exceptionally informative and extremely polite even if my jokes were bad they still laughed, lol. My doctor took very good care of me and I'm expressing anyone who has any Dermatology needs to see fit into making an appointment here.

They was very polite the moment i walked through the door, throughout my treatment up until i left. My procedure was detailed, precise & quick.

Really poor billing practices. They always bill insurance even when they quote you a flat rate for cosmetic services. It’s unfortunate as I had a good experience with the doctor. I have high deductible insurance, so they keep sending me bills even though I already paid a flat fee.

First, its a bit ironic that this placed is called “advanced dermatology” because the office and equipment mostly looks like it’s from the early 90’s. I waited 30-45 minutes for my appointment to start, and when I went to the desk to ask, they had forgot I was waiting and sent me back. I had to get a mole removed during a screening (my first time) and was a bit nervous, but no one explained why or how they were going to remove it. They just numbed me and cut it off. No bedside manner. They dodged all my questions, including why the mole looked suspicious (so I could look for other moles like that in the future!) and when I’d have results back. I had to call them a month or two later to eventually to get an update.

Personable ladies at reception. Very easy sign in process. Definitely happy to have this place recommended to me.

Called for an appt and the lady told me none were available. I called 2hrs later and another lady answered and got me in. When I arrived I was in and out in 8 minutes, 2 of which spent with the PA that saw me. No directions given. They didn’t fill my prescription (which they said they would). Tried to call and email with no answer and email bounce back.

Considering filing a complaint at this point.

The reception was friendly and efficient and I didn’t wait long to see the doctor. The medical assistant was also thorough and professional. Dr. Friedler answered all my questions and concerns.

Professional and prompt attention from front desk staff. Offices are clean, bright and comfortable. Physician was excellent and the assistant was intelligent and caring. All the right combinations for a great experience at this doctor’s office.

By far the best dermatologist experience I’ve had thus far! Dr. Julia Ro took her time, asked me questions, and catered to my every need/concerns. Her team also assisted me upon arrival, they were warming and welcoming. Thank you everyone! Would highly recommend.

Julia is amazing! She listened to my skin products ruled some out, helped me make a routine for for me. Listened to my skin goals and prescribed me the correct medication. My skin looks amazing! The front desk team is also nice and helpful. 100% recommend.

I like the doctor and feel I was checked thoroughly. They try to push a pharmacy that they used that turned out weird for me. Just use your own pharmacy.

I would definitely NOT recommend this place. I tried to update my insurance information 3 times and every time they said they would resend my claim. In the end, this was never done and now they say it is too late to resend it.
