AFC Urgent Care West Islip

Glad that is nearby, I rather go with AFC than to the hospital, because I don't have to wait hours to be seen. Great service, specially with the covid test.

From the front desk checking me in to the nurse and doctor all were caring.
With all my other health problems they were very concerned, but they treated like they knew me for years.
I hope I will never have to go back again but if emergency care is needed, I will be very happy to trust going back.
So again, Thank you to all the staff

Warm greetings, clear instructions, safety protocols enforcement, prompt services and professional treatment were the hallmarks of my experience at your facility yesterday (3/17/21).

Pros and cons with this site. I have had really nice nurses/front desk and then a nurse who left my arm black and blue for more than a week since she didn’t take blood very well. The waiting room is tiny so this is a concern in COVID times because people don’t seem to understand keeping space between people, which seems weird because most are there for a COVID test.the false security of wearing a mask. They did improve their line procedure outside and it is easy to get an on-line appointment. I like the larger waiting areas in their other locations.

This urgent care was ultra fast and ultra efficient. The results of my COVID 19 PCR test took less than 24 hours! The nurse was excellent administering the test. This place is the best!

I hope this message gets to the PA who took care of my son. He asked my son what pronouns he uses and if he was comfortable with the one he used. My son left this visit feeling accepted-and grateful for the respect he was given. He came to get a acute rash diagnosed and left on top of the world! Thanks

Very efficient. I was able to make an appt online for a Rapid test same day with no problem and they even texted me to come early if I could. The staff is knowledgeable and very nice. This was my second visit. Both times a good experience

Very easy process. Got results even faster than expected. Will be using this place for all the testing I will need to do this year.

The whole staff was kind and wonderful. The Doctor was great and spoke to me in Spanish and recognized my culture even though I the whole I t wasn’t necessary. The whole staff was efficient and answered my questions.

It was a great experience. I was able to complete all paperwork online. The process went smoothly and quickly when I arrived. All my questions were answered without feeling rushed.

Great service very fast, the lady who did the pcr test for my whole family make everyone comfortable even the kids enjoy their time at the office

Awful, dishonest practice! I went here to get a Covid test to enter Jamaica. The staff looked at the screenshot or requirements, and told me to spend $250 to get two tests. When I showed up at the airport the staff member literally laughed at the certificate and asked me if I made it myself. I was able to get an acceptable test from a reputable urgent care center. This company doesn’t even answer the phone. Crooks! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

They worked very quickly to help keep people from standing out in the cold however i wonder why they don’t use a system like other locations that allows you to wait in the car which is better for patients and also eases the process for them. Other than that the staff and doctors were very kind and helpful. Had a good visit.
