Very pleasant. I like the fact they cure instead of medicate. The medical staff is efficient and very pleasant.

Dr Hunter was very knowledgeable and spent time to solve the problems I was experiencing. I had to travel across the country to get someone with answers! The staff were fantastic. All of them.

Honestly, I can't say enough kind things about Dr. Hunter and Jeanmarie (NP). I won't get into my complicated medical case but, believe me its complicated and both Dr. Hunter and Jeanmarie have been extremely helpful. Did not punt my case (as many other providers would) and are so kind and knowledgeable it just makes you feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel.

This gentleman is not a caring doctor. He really doesn’t care about finding the root cause of pelvic pain. He would rather cover it up with a nerve block and charge you for that. And he will only speak to you once you have met with all other members of staff. Honestly, one of the most unprofessional members of the medical community in Manhattan, and certainly the most unprofessional individual I have ever met.

Further to the terrible experience with him face to face, I was then approached by a Collections agency who threatened to collect my possessions in lieu of payment. This was extremely stressful and unnecessary. My insurance company would have paid for my whole treatment if they were accurately billed.

I would avoid this doctor at all costs. I really do advise against him. And this is with the benefit of meeting a dozen pain specialists in Manhattan.

Doctors who care try to find the underlying cause, rather than billing for blocks which offer temporary relief at best.

Very professional, friendly and caring. Procedure was painless and I was in and out. I would highly recommend their services to all!

He pays more attention to his online reputation than he does to his patients. Good luck getting him on the phone - it's impossible. Lousy.

Institute? It's literally just him. He calls his practice an institute as if it were a huge research center. His ego gets in the way of providing adequate care and when you aren't 100% happy with his treatment results he goes silent and doesn't answer calls. My parent was in excruciating pain and he kept evading their calls. Poor record keeping and some procedures were not accounted for.

Also: he charges for covid tests, which are mandatory before you get treated. He's a money grabber.

I think Dr Hunter and his colleagues are wonderful at what they do. For helping patients with their pain. I would recommend my friends and family to see him if they were going through any kind of back pain the pain shoulder pain and knee pain.

Ainsworth Institute of Pain Management is a state of the art facility for those who suffer from pain. Dr. Hunter is highly skilled and kind.

The right place to be if you want to feel better, very professional Dr Hunter, Jeanmarie Tari and employees.

I travel approximately 15 miles to get to Ainsworth. Dr. Hunter and his staff have helped me immensely. Dr. Hunter is tops in his field. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. If he happens not to be available his NP covers it all! His staff is friendly, caring and always willing to help. I give Ainsworth 10 ️!

The medical team is outstanding. I dealt with crippling extreme pain that stopped me from enjoying many simple elements of my life.

I went to numerous doctors and no one could help me find relief or a proper diagnosis or my devastating pain. At one point a “top neurologist” even told me I had fibromyalgia (this was not correct).

Then I found Ainsworth via internet research.

Dr. Hunter is a true expert. He saw how much I was suffering, he spent extra time with me figuring out my issues. He developed a plan and started treatments right away.

Chronic pain issues suck big time- but the whole team at Ainsworth is excellent (esp Jeanmarie Tari). They improve my quality of life and I’m thankful for how much they help me deal with some difficult issues.

I travel from Rochester NY to visit Ainsworth Pain. They seem to understand Pelvic Pain better than any other pain management practice. Dr. Hunter gave me a Dorsal Root Ganglion Implant and I am able to manage my pain better. The Nurse Practitioner, Jean- Marie is wonderful to work with, as is the rest of the staff. They truly understand chronic pain and how to treat it. I highly recommend Ainsworth Pain Clinic.

I am seeing Dr Hunter at Ainsworth Pain Management. I have been suffering for many years with extreme pain. I went to Dr Hunter and received a spinal injection. I was given numbing medications and barely felt anything. Within minutes the pain went away 100%. The doctor explained that this medication would wear off, but that he would do another injection next week, and then a final procedure a few weeks after this.

I was actually looking at another doctor, but started reading Dr Hunter's review. I was really impressed with Dr Hunter's knowledge that was far superior to the other doctor I was considering. I am very thankful I met Dr Hunter at Ainsworth Pain Management Center. Shout out to Jean Marie, Roberto, Shania and the entire staff for their care of me during visits. The office is clean, tastefully decorated, and sanitary. Clean wood floors, mandatory covid testing before seeing the doctor. The way the staff do the covid test is very gentle - they don't stick it all the way up your sinus, they get a sample from your mid nose without causing pain or bleeding.

He accepts Medicare so many people can be helped. Don't waste your time or money on other doctors. I just wish I met Dr Hunter 30 years ago.
