Nice romantic it feels like a private home, staff is nice and welcoming. Highly recommend. If you are into old movies, they have it on a big screen.

Nice theater with decent ticket prices. Expect to spend a good amount on food and drinks. IMO you're better off eating before.

Went with my lady last night to watch “Knock at the Cabin”, for context.
We ordered Buffalo cauliflower (my favorite on the menu), mozzarella sticks, garlic & infused burger. Food was Great.
If I could add a critique, I’d recommend they modernize the “order request” process. Not a fan of having to write down asking for napkins or knives in the middle of a movie.
That said, customer service was friendly and seats were very comfortable.

What a fun concept and very enjoyable for a date night, guys night out or taking the kids for a some fun. Great menu. Very friendly staff. And so many classic movie memorabilia to take pic with. Definitely worth the price of admission

God forbid you arrive to the theater after the movie start time, you will not be allowed in and won’t be refunded for your tickets if you purchased through a third party. I will not be going somewhere that gives you zero freedom of going in and out of the theater. And if I get caught in traffic, I’d still like to know that I can watch the movie I paid for when I get there.

I am guilty of arriving to the movie theater late. I could not understand why the guy at the register refused to let me in. He said that it’s a written policy. I go to say that I didn’t read it and reads it anyway. He goes to say “well, everyone should read it” in a condensing way. I am shocked, thinking he is having a bad day or something and ask for a manager.
The girl comes over, she was respectful but to every solution she offered herself, she kept saying no in the end. For example, I tell her that my friends are waiting for me inside, she says “okay, show me the reservation”, I go to show her the reservation and she says that since we booked it separately, she can limit let me in. Then why even bother asking me to show her the reservation? She says that I would bother people,
I tell here there are 10 people inside, 4 of which I know and that I could go to the bathroom unless it’s also forbidden. I also underlined they aren’t broadway, where I would interrupt the play, cause that is understandable. Since that was unproductive, I said Okay, just give me a refund which they were happy to do. I mean why lose an income and have an empty theater? Anyway, the manager left and the register guy named Mark kept going to say that “I shouldn’t have made a promise that I can’t keep”. Wow, really Mark? ! How disrespectful and disgusting that is. And totally not your business. So for refund he asks for a card that I didn’t have on me, suggested a refund and I said that I don’t want to come back. Since I didn’t have the number even on a statement I asked for a refund, to which he says “I thought you didn’t want to come back? ”. Rude, not your business and you’re not keeping my money. Shame on you. Uploading a picture of an empty movie theater that I got from my friends. With this rate customer service skills, they will shut down.

Great movie experience, and even better food! It's an experience that you'll enjoy, but be ready to pay out the rear end.

I want to love this theater everything was great and they take movie watching seriously as I'm a movie enthusiast love
picture and sound but the large theater was so poorly designed by placing the exit illuminated
red sign right next to the screen glowing onto screen distracting me the entire movie

Great place first time here. I had good experience with my 2 boys. You can order food from your seat they will bring it to you. Very clean theatre. 5 starrrrrrttt

Ok so I love the strict rules so everyone can enjoy the movie seats very comfortable and place very clean but no regular bottle water? Just a 12 ounce sparkling water on the menu?

Beware of credit card fraud while ordering food in there. They demand your card beforehand, then charge it after. My card was charged more then twice I ordered food. I found out it couple of days later checking my card statements. Two different charges - one for my food order, which received receipt for, another one out of nowhere, more than my actual order amount.

Great atmosphere. Nice staff. Love the old film reruns. Great food and tons of drinks. Very glad New Dorp has a movie theater again!

Movie started at 8 PM. My girlfriend and I got there 30 minutes early to get seated and get prepared for what we want to order. Server comes out 5 minutes before the movie started so we place our order, my gf gets a glass of wine and a soft pretzel, and I order the “bottomless” sodas, and chicken tenders. The food was good, and the tenders were made for giants, because they were massive, couldnt even finish them. Only thing that annoyed me was not even a quarter through the movie the server comes with my check. So my gf and I were like wow that was kind of quick but didnt really make no mind of it. I signed off and left a tip, but midway through the movie my gf wanted another glass of wine and I wanted another soda since i ordered “bottomless” sodas. I write everything down, buzz the server over and she tells me she cant get me my soda because the kitchen is closed, but she can get my gf the glass of wine since the bar is still open… I was just a little annoyed because why is the kitchen closing before the movie is halfway even over, why even have desert on your menu? And does the kitchen really need to be open in order to fill a large cup with ice and soda? I order bottomless sodas since thats whats on the menu and I only got 1 soda, not one refill…. Server didnt charge me for the 2nd glass if wine which is why this place get 3 stars instead of 2.

Service was poor. They denied us entry bc we were late by 20 min for a 3 HOUR movie. I mean. Im in crutches too, and they still showed zero remorse. They were rude and very stand offish.

I went on Christmas Eve in the middle of the day. Couldn't get a true feel of it. The food was great, the service was great.

Definitely get the spiked hot cocoa

Misleading promotion on tickets. Waiter didn't accept food coupon after saying it could be used. Had to ask three times for tartar sauce so ate cold fish. Seats barely recline. "Lounge" area is 2 small couches. I'll stick with AMC going forward.

Best theater in Staten Island. Friendly staff and great atmosphere, plus awesome variety of food and drink options.

Terrible service. I normally do not write bad reviews, but the service I received here was so condescending and arrogant that I had to share.
