Hi all! I've been going to Dr. Winter for a long time and, as odd as it may seem to say, always had a great experience at the dentist. Recently I had a cleaning done and my hygienist was Deena. She is the most incredible person ever. She is incredibly friendly, patient and professional. She has a great sense of humor and is very empathetic to those with past scary dental experiences. Deena is another great addition to an already awesome office. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Best yet. I had 4 crowns done, no pain during and no pain after. Conscious sedation was the way to go for me. I'll be staying with Dr. Harvey Winter from here on out. See you in six months. Thank you for taking care of me.

Dr. Winter has spent a great deal of time helping me to overcome my fear of dentistry work. I am now proud to say I have accomplished this over the years. I had a dental emergency today and Dr. Winter’s office staff got me in same day and my crown was repaired. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

There is a reason my family and I have been going to Dr. Winter for over 20 years. He and his staff are friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. When I needed a crown redone, Dr. Winter was able to perfectly match the crown to my other teeth, giving me back my confidence. After dealing with poor gum health and pain, RDH Kelly showed me how to properly care for my gums. Thanks to her knowledge and frequent check ins, my gum issue completely resolved and avoided the need for invasive or expensive treatments. I highly recommend Albany Dental Care.

I would highly recommend against limiting your dental care options based on your insurance coverage. My participating dentist’s office is so understaffed and overwhelmed that I was told that it would take 6 months before they could fill a cavity. This led me to making an appointment on an emergency basis with an out of network dentist. Turns out, I had an abscess. I was in horrible pain, and extraction was recommended but staff was uncertain if one or two teeth would need to be taken out. Uncertainty when extracting your teeth is not something you should be facing. I turned to Dr. Winter’s office. They immediately scheduled a consultation for me and I was able to meet with Dr. Winter. Dr. Winter confirmed that an extraction was necessary, was able to do the work that same day and recommended that only one tooth had to be removed. Thank goodness for Dr. Winter! If not for Dr. Winter, I might have lost a perfectly good tooth. I would highly recommend Dr. Winter and his staff.

Dr Winter and his staff are accommodating, friendly and truly take the time to know how to treat you! Dr winter is kind, knowledgeable and great at what he does. I am an anxious patient and would highly recommend for anyone who is hesitant or had issues in the past. I highly recommend this office for anyone looking for any dental care!

Dr. Winter & Sam were amazing! I went in with extreme pain for an exam & X-rays & left without a wisdom tooth! He could tell it hurt by the x-ray & he had a couple minutes, knew I was a nervous wreck & they took great care of me & it was super fast! Thank you Dr. Winter & team ️

I’d like to thank Dr. Winter and his staff for taking care of my Dad today. Dad is 86 years old with mild Alzheimer’s and hadn’t seen a dentist in decades due to some past traumatic dental experience. Dr. Winter really put him at ease and fixed a cavity without even using Novocain. We were both amazed and quite pleased.

Hate going to the dentist. Dr Winter advertised calm, relaxing experience. I got what he advertised, it was calm, quick experience had 2 teeth removed. Very little swelling, healed like he said it would. I'll be returning for more work. Payment in full at time of service. Didn't take my insurance so cash was expected, only draw back, No payment plans in this office. I'll return when I save enough to return.

Despite my lifelong fear of dentistry, Dr. Winter and his team have made it possible for me to have my dental needs addressed. Dr Winter’s good humored approach and skill have made each visit a positive experience. I highly recommend this practice.

As a person with a life-long fear of going to the dentist, I reluctantly decided to "bite the bullet" (pun intended) and make an appointment for much needed care. Now that I have taken care of my dental issues, I feel so relieved. Dr. Winter and his staff put me at ease from the start. They were approachable and professional. I was completely relaxed during the procedures and pain free afterward! I will no longer be putting off my dental care. I'll be seeing Dr, Winter regularly.

I have an extreme fear of going to the dentist……until now! Dr. Winter and his team know I am extremely nervous when I need dental care. I have had a fear of going to the dentist from childhood. I’ve had several dentists and every visit was filled with fear starting the night before the appointment. I was literally told once that patients like me are why dentists retire early.

Going to Dr Winters was a completely different experience. On the first visit I burst into tears when they asked my name and thought that it would go downhill from there. It’s hard to explain how badly I wanted to bolt for the door. But I stayed and am pleased to say that is did NOT go downhill. The staff at the office were so kind and reassuring. It’s the first time I haven’t felt like a child for having all the fears that I take to every visit. Dr Winters explained everything that needed to be done and by the time he had finished I felt like I could trust him and his staff. This is huge for someone who literally has a phobia of going to the dentist. The procedure was done a week later, and I can honestly say it was the best experience with a dental appointment that I have ever had. Are the nerves gone? Not at all. But I know it's ok to feel that way and that it can be eased.

I never in my life imagined that I would have good experience at a dentist office, but I truly did. I will be going back to Dr Winters moving forward. The atmosphere in your office is one of calmness and it's contagious it seems. Thank you all for your professionalism, kindness, and most of all your patience.

This office is amazing. Dr Winter has a great sense of humor, and does a great job. The whole staff is kind and helpful. They have handled insurance issues better than any medical office I have been to as well. I'm very happy with my experiences here. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Another usual run-of-the-mill awesome procedures by Dr Winter. Today was the implant. No fuss just the normal expedient professional experience as always. The whole staff ROCKS!
