Allenwood Park reviews
13Small cozy park with various playgrounds for different ages, including tennis and baseball courts
Love this park. As long as people are RESPECTFUL of others. Some family’s leave a filthy mess and some are respectful of everyone and leave the area clean. Please don’t allow our beautiful parks (for which we pay taxes for) become a place where anything is ok. There’s nothing as delightful as hearing children laugh and play. Instead of sitting & frowning on a bench, try smiling and
& just see how many people smile back. Let’s all enjoy our lives, stay healthy and stay safe.
Large park that is spacious and quiet. Nice playgrounds and the splash pad is a nice bonus.
Great place for kids of all ages lots of fun slides and swings and it got a beautiful pond and restrooms overall nice place to spend time with your kids
Beautiful park well maintained the staff friendly always helpful grat place to take the kids all year long
Very well maintained baseball and Tennis Park in Great Neck. Residency and reservations required for tennis. Plentiful free parking and well kept children's playground as well.
My Grandchildren insist on visiting Allenwood Park. The playground has something for everyone and the rest of the park is lovely.
Wonderful setting. Just wish the park district would start putting out their chairs for us all to use as they did ORD-Covid
A nice place for the family. Have a picnic. Play some sports. Or just walk among the trees and relax.
The GLOBAL favourite of FAST food, especially during a year & a half of the COVID crises! Reliably consistent quality of food and drink, upbeat, competent service! Many thanks!
Lovely. I even recalled memories from trips there with my late grandmother and cousins. Lots of wide open spaces where a kid can safely play and experience the magic of childhood.
Clean and modern park, with a gated area toddler and older kid area. There is a nice splash pad and a sand pit with 2 little "excavators" for the younger kids. The bathrooms were the cleanest I've seen in a public park, and the women's had a changing table.
Nice park with a bike path, picnic tables and fun playgrounds for children (closed right now for Covid-19)
