Allergy Asthma Immunology, Rochester NY

I have been seen at AAIR for about 30 years and now that I am an adult and make my own choices for my health care team, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my allergy needs. Nurses put the patient first especially the injection nurses. My doctor has always taken the time with me during my appointments to make sure my questions are answered and my needs are met.

Is the skin testing pleasant? Not when you have as many intradermal injections come up positive as I had.

Is getting 5 double concentrated injections every 3 weeks fun? No

But I can say that for the first time I think ever, when I went to my appointment with my doctor this week and he said this has been a really terrible year so far for pollen, I looked at him and said “really, is it”? I think after 20 plus years of shots, they are really helping!

My children and I have gone to AAIR for a few years. Jody and her nurse Heather are amazing. I am so thankful that they take the time to explain everything and really listen to my concerns.

I love this place! Everyone who works here is wonderful and the wait time is never long. I would recommend.

Phenomenal patient care, fantastic staff, and literally the cleanest offices I've ever seen.

I got skin tested and found out I was allergic to alot more things than I had initially thought.
They walked me though the process afterwards, and I've had no questions since!

Had a great experience here. Very caring and knowledgeable staff. Took the time to be sure I understood what was going to happen and then go through all my options for treatments based off my evaluation. If your looking for an allergist aair is the place to come.

They got me in almost immediately and were very thorough in going over and explaining everything. I had to get skin tests and they went through them very quickly, didn't hurt at all really just a slight poke. It sounded like they were willing to do them on my arms if I wasn't okay with my back, but it was fine. It took a little while at the end before seeing the specialist again but considering how well they explained my results and treatment plan, I'd say it was worth the wait.

I have been recieving allergy injections since about the age of 12 at the Greece, NY location. Recently, during the time of COVID-19, all Greece patients were transferred to this location. For about a month or two we were treated like cattle and sent into a back office area (that felt like a closet) to wait our 30 minutes. I have just now recieved the news that our location was closed permanently without anyone notifying us! The secretaties have always been rude at both the Greece and Brighton locations. Also, be prepared to be turned away if you are late by even a minute. I would highly recommend that if you need allergy injections, like myself, that you consider all other options first before sending yourself or your child to this location.

Honestly terrible customer service. They sent me out to some Fairport location after rudely telling me thats my only option. I get to the Fairport location just to find out my appointment wasn't there, it was back in Brighton which was the original location I called to try and schedule a appointment at. So while experiencing a stress induced asthma attack i sped to Brighton and called during the drive there to let them know the reason I won't be on time. Even after hearing it was there fault I wouldn't be on time I got no apology or ounce of sympathy for the inconvenience they caused.

But Jody and the rest of the doctors and nurses and assistants are beyond amazing!
