Alley Pond Park reviews
16Great HUGE! Park. I love it.there are trails you can walk or jog through, an adventure course, and lots of space to bring your doggie!
This is a nice clean park. I used to come here to hang out as a kid and now bring my kids to play on the slides. Community is good and park is well taken care of. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Beautiful park although the entrance way for vehicles to park could be better designed, the park was excellent.
Big area with a park in the middle. Went barbecuing here with my family here as a kid. Amazing park with lots of greenery
Wonderful place very spacious. Great views of the park and trees. Can play baseball, softball and can have many place to run and be with family
It's a park, very big and clean. But keep your eyes open for lurkers and patients from nearby Creedmore, they for most part are well behaved, times are changing folks and you never know. Oh Douglaston Pkwy you might be able to get some if your into that
A good place for walking, there is a good way to walk, there are also a little undulating dirt road, very comfortable
I don't like giving bad reviews to open park space in the city, but boy was this a messy sideline. I covered a football game here. Almost fell the first time trying to get in the field bc the sidelines are pure mud. It's great to have fields and an adventure course. Fresh air and ball games are fun for all.
Great park for walking and hiking. Has trails and fields for football, soccer etc. Indoor tennis as well. Park is very big but I have yet to see the pond.
Clean well maintained even after the big storm/ had some huge gopher holes on lawn/ love adult gym area+ restroom/need vendors as a family place if even outside the park. (Thus 3.5 stars)
It was sooooo fun but scary at the same time. You have not have the fear of heights to do some of the activitys. And the groul game we played were the best. This is perfect for a schoom trip.
Peaceful place to go for a long walk. The bike path is full of woods and scenery. Great place to go if you have things on your mind
Early enough to see the dog training session. The forest is a good meditative area; many paths to explore, ponds to see, turtles, birds and dogs with their owners, a chipmunk and a squirrel or two. A great workout or tranquil walk for all. I suppose, wheel chairs, for those with suitable equipment and athletic capabilities; otherwise, the open air park is extremely clean and clear, well maintained with wide paths. There is a main walking, running, biking path also that will challenge the best.
My suggestion: sit on a bench and reflect, see, smile, pray.meditate.connect with the natural.
Have a blessed day.
P. S.
Wear light weight long sleeves, goggles, mask and a cap in the forest this time of year; there are some pesky mosquitoes and gnats.
Beautiful park! I love it. It's a good place to relax on a Sunday morning. Am happy that I found Zumba classes at an outdoor setting.
Plenty of walking trails to explore. I love to visit with my family. In additions to being maintained by Parks and Recreation, the neighborhood also does it’s part to keep the park clean.
I love this place.
When i've got in the school, we went to Alley Pond Park for having barbeque with my friends, & teachers together, because it was fun at the park, including activities, games, eat, play, & more!? This is going to be a best day adventure ever!
