Warning: don't buy from here. I really wish, and highly recommend, that I had just taken a design to a local jeweler. 2 stars (now 1, see updates) only because I even got a product in the mail that looked acceptable. I've had several issues, and their communication is abysmal at best. Details below, but the TL;DR: Save yourself the trouble and order a custom ring from a local jeweler.

FINAL EDIT (10/24/2023) :
They denied my refund when I asked for it via email. I was able to submit for a credit card dispute on the charge, and eventually was issued a full refund in that way. I have since shipped the ring (and diamond report) back to Allurez and they now have the product as-is, and I will be doing no further business with this company.

If you read nothing else in this review, then please, do yourself a favor and buy from a local jeweler. This was the first, and only time, that I ever considered buying jewelry on the web; I regret that decision and will not be making a similar mistake again.

UPDATE (Aug 2023) :
Reducing to one star, since the ring I have is unusable. The local jeweler discovered substantial porosity in the construction of the ring (basically bubbles in the metal as it cooled I guess). A prong holding the sidestones broke again. I'm now fighting to get any of my money back, and having to buy another ring rush order from a local store before my wedding, because I can't trust them to repair this one in time or give me anything of quality. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Save your money and heartache, and find a reputable local jeweler instead. Read the other 1 star reviews, it's just not worth it from here.

Issues (and there are plenty) :
1) Support: Calling their support number and leaving a voicemail is useless. Send an email to their support; they at least try to email back some response in 24-48 business hours.

2) Original order & shipping: The engagement ring was delayed longer than estimated (read: outside the 30day return window from order date), and they did not communicate anything. I had to email their support multiple times and basically got "we're working on it, it'll ship when it's ready". I never got any promised automated shipping notification; on my last email to them, they finally included the shipping details (tracking number). For reference, it took roughly 4-5 weeks between order and receipt.

3) Shoddy construction: Not 24 hours after giving it to my fiancee, two of the sidestone accents had fallen out. We only managed to find one. Very disappointing. Also adding it to this bullet, but the repaired ring we got back had a cracked sidestone accent. This being AFTER repairs.

4) Repair delays: In relation to that issue, I emailed their support, they had me ship it back to them for repairs. Those repairs took 6+ weeks, and I never even got an email saying they had received my ring in the mail; I had to ask after it. For those reading, it took 2 weeks longer to repair than to build the darn thing. Never got an email with tracking info when they shipped it back either. It just showed up in the mail (and yes it's a signed for package).

5) More shoddy work: After repair, I took it immediately to a local jeweler that I trust for inspection. They saw that one of the sidestone accents was cracked/damaged and would need replaced. That's AFTER I sent the ring in for repair BECAUSE of the sidestones.

Overall, I'm very disappointed in my experience with Allurez and recommend you go anywhere else. For expensive jewelry, just have a local business order for you. It's not worth the headache of dealing with Allurez.

I also wouldn't recommend the extended warranty contract, because I'm afraid to send it into them again for even a simple cleaning, because of how bad my repair experience was. I'm now literally considering paying someone else to fix the problem which is under warranty, because I don't trust Allurez to do it right or in a timely manner. My finacee was without her engagement ring for 6 weeks almost right after getting it, because of this, which is quite frankly unacceptable.

About a month ago I contacted Allurez to create a custom ring for my self. I sent them a sketch of what I wanted hoping they can do it. They absolutely amazed me. They worked with me patiently to make sure I get the best result. They made it so easy and pleasurable. Not only do I love and adore my ring, I also get so many compliments every time I wear it. I can’t wait to work with them again.

Do not recommend doing business with this company. Ordered ring on 9/1 needing this for an anniversary trip on 9/22. They gave new an estimated delivery of 9/6-9/11. It's now 9/18 and still don't have an update. Been calling for 3 days and every time I'm promised an update by the end of the day. This type.of service is unacceptable.

Failed to meet their own deadline and didn’t notify me.
Didn’t notify when ring shipped like their documentation said they would.
Nickle and dime operation…

I won’t do business then again.

Sent my rings in for repair Jul 6th. It’s August 11th. I asked them for status updates for the last 4 weeks straight. Rena, Shelby and Stacey have not let me speak to a manager about what is going on with my order. They keep saying they put in requests to the jeweler and I never hear back. I’m days away from taking legal action against this company.

I placed an order for a ring to arrive within a week and a half. I then noticed it could take up to 2 weeks. I notifed Allurez asking if it's possible to get the ring within the time frame - they said they would try their best. I just received the ring and it arrive 2 days before my deadline. I thank Allurez for expediting the custom order and delivery.

We got a sapphire ring. It looked like an onyx. We returned it to receive a ring that aligned with the AAA grade we paid for. After a month of delay with no communication, we received an empty box. I had to file with UPS, and it was determined that it was lost in shipping a week ago. Despite multiple attempts to discuss next steps with the company, we have no ring and no estimated time as to when we should expect the replacement ring or a refund.

I sent a ring in for resizing and cleaning apart of the lifetime guarantee I paid for when I purchased the ring. Now for the second time, Allurez sent my ring back to an incorrect address. This time, it was sent 4 states away (MI, supposed to go to NY). The first time it was supposed to. Go to MI but was sent to IL. They were contacted 5 times through email, phone, and mail with the correct return address.

1 - I emailed confirming what the correct address was.
2 - I updated my account to reflect the correct address. (WELL BEFORE CONTACTING THEM FOR THE SERVICES)
3 - The package itself had the correct return address on it.
4 - When my wife had to call a representative (FROM ALLUREZ) to pay the return shipping, they asked about the return shipping address and it was provided.
5 - The correct return address was on the receipt we got from paying the return shipping (FROM ALLUREZ).

On top of this, after contacting Allurez via phone and email, we have not received return contact. We had to DRIVE to MI to pick up the ring since neither the mail carrier or the old apartment mgr had the means to send it to the correct address.

Additionally, the ring wasn’t even resized. It’s incredibly frustrating to not only have this happen AGAIN, but not have the service that we paid for done. By far Allurez is the WORST jewelry company I have EVER had the displeasure of working with. I suggest staying away from them.

I contacted Allurez to create a custom engagement ring according to my girlfriend at the times exact specifications. Not only were they easy to work with they had great turnaround time producing just the piece from an example I gave. Thanks to Allurez my proposal was a success. I've since been married for over half a year and my wife still praises how beautiful her dream ring became a reality. I'll definitely look to use Allurez if I want more custom jewelry in the future and recommend to anyone who's looking to buy an engagement ring!

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
If I could give 0 stars at this point, I would.
Not only did my wedding band arrive two months later than it was suppose to, but it was the incorrect ring and it was MISSING a diamond right from the middle of the band. Allurez has taken no responsibility for their lack of quality control and are not willing to provide a shipping label to return the ring. I had to pay $60 in customs just to receive a damaged ring and they won't even pay to send it back.
Have yourself the headache and do not buy from here!
