Great! Everything was great except that they don't have access to the rooftop restaurant any more and that's a great spot for food and drink.

We stayed here for an anniversary trip interstate and it was clean, comfortable and a great location.

The a/c was a lifesaver and constantly chilly, the king bed was super comfortable and clean, room service was done everyday.

The view wasn’t that great and their pool was under construction which was a bit of a bummer, as that was one of the reasons we chose this place.

Either way, worked for our stay, close to shopping, food and the subway.

Beware the elevators can take awhile to come as it seems like they don’t have a seperate one for maintenance/housekeeping.

July 2023, this hotel is CLOSED due to an adjacent parking garage collapse that happened in April. No info was given to us! Incredidible!

My room was either on high AC and 40 degrees or I had to turn the AC off altogether. It didn't matter what I had the thermostat set on. The bar was also closed the entire weekend.

The front desk folks actively dislike customers. No idea what I did but they really really did not want me to enjoy my stay at this hotel.

There's a review from June 2022 saying that they were undergoing renovations at the time. As of June 2023, they still are.

Three stars for being basically sanitary, safe, and near a subway. There was nothing WRONG with it, but it was shoddy and a little bit depressing in several ways.

The biggest one was that the internet kept kicking me off, and sometimes I had to turn my wifi off and on 5-10 times before it would let me log in again. Fortunately it wasn't kicking my phone off and I was able to share the connection from there, otherwise I'd have racked up a lot of data charges!

The front desk staff weren't very good at using the computer system. The bed didn't have fitted sheets, just a few flat sheets on top, and they kept shifting in the night so that I'd wake up on the nasty vinyl mattress pad. There's a fridge downstairs selling some frozen foods, but as far as I could tell no way to heat them up (either in the lobby or in my room). My room had nice blackout shades but they were slightly misaligned with the tracks on the wall so they kept on getting crumpled and letting light through anyway.

Like I said, nothing major wrong. Don't hesitate to book here if the rates are favorable and you're wanting to use the subway during your stay. But definitely not my favorite hotel.

I just stayed at this hotel last week for 3 nights and had a great experience. Personally, I was not in the city to spend a lot of time in a hotel room, but I want to stay in a comfortable place-this hit all the marks for me! It was very clean, quiet (my interior window did not face street, FWIW) and the staff were all very professional and helpful. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is leaving that for a super high-end/fancy place. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

There's construction going on nearby and I see homeless people every time.

Located in a very busy area. Rooms are small. Not very accommodating to customers prior to check-in. Parking is 3 blocks from the hotel.

The room was comfortable, and I found the room service to be excellent. They paid great attention to detail. However, I had some very uncomfortable moments at the front desk. There were instances where they gave our rooms to other guests or didn't have them ready on time. Our reservations didn't appear in their system, and they struggled with managing payment arrangements for job-related trips. Additionally, coffee was not available before 9 am. Despite these issues, I can say that the staff was cooperative and humble. It would be beneficial to have better-trained staff specifically for the front desk.

Very nice, clean hotel. Close to lots of things to do and within walking distance to the water which has lots of activity. Rooms look just like the photos provided.

Poor service, misleading advertisement, fire alarm malfunction, mold in the shower, uncomfortable beds, cost doesn't worth.

Pretty central location in Brooklyn and close enough to Manhattan! Nice staff and rooms are pleasant. Too bad we could not visit the rooftop …

Good experience in this hotel, well located because the metro is right next door.
Good value for money

Rather a minimalist approach. Nothing fancy here. No breakfast and they have one of the worst television services I have ever seen.

I had a four day stay here at the Aloft and I would book again. The room was small, but cozy. Who’s staying in their room while in NYC anyway? The staff was extremely helpful when I had a mix up when booking the hotel as well. Only qualm is that if you buy a drink there it was frozen haha.
