Worked with Nathan and he was able to get me a great apartment the week before I wanted to move. Definitely would work with them again.

I reached out the very first day the listing hit the market and did not hear back for several days. When I finally heard back I was told there was a time to view the apartment the next day during the middle of the workday which I could not attend. I responded 4 minutes later asking if we could reschedule. I even offered to visit that same afternoon. Complete radio silence from then on. I followed up by calling, emailing, sending messages through StreetEasy, and through the Alpha website over the course of the next week and a half. I used more sources than a Wikipedia page to get in touch with this agent. I never heard anything and then the listing was updated to “in contract”. If you want to get ghosted harder than that girl on Hinge that left you wanting more, then by all means, use Alpha’s services. I’m not sure where the 5 stars come from unless it stands for days to average response time.

The leasing manager was fairly responsive and referred me to another agent which will boost this review to 2 stars.

Finding an apartment in NYC felt like an incredibly daunting process until my roommate and I met agent Walker Farley. He was very responsive, answering our endless questions in a timely manner. The minute Walker showed us the apartment, we knew we were working with someone who actually cared about us and our experience. He was honest, friendly, and helpful! Walker had our best interests at heart, which cannot be said about agents we had encountered elsewhere during our apartment search. HIGHLY recommend working with Walker!

Nathan made the usually stressful process of finding a place in the city and completing the application very straightforward and easy. He always responded promptly and clearly, and answered my many questions with patience and knowledge. He was very helpful and kind, working with my schedule and with my roommate's. Would very much recommend.

Really happy so far. The apartment was suggested to me by my Nathan after hearing my budget and where I work and it was perfect. The whole process was really smooth and the decision to see a realtor and signing a lease took about a week.

This is my 1st Yelp Review Ever! Nathan Gulkar is the best broker I've ever worked with. He found me an apartment very quickly. We all know how stressful searching and moving can be, however Nathan made the process way easier than I anticipated. Initially, I was searching individual listings attached to random brokers. They were all relatively professional but none of them gave the impression that I was a priority. I get it. The market is picking up and competition is fierce. The day I met Nathan he said "Don't worry. If you don't get this apartment, I will find you something else. " Flash forward shortly thereafter, he is congratulating me for signing my new lease. I get the impression that he works very hard, but he makes it look easy. I would highly recommend that you contact Nathan and I hope your experience is as fortunate as mine.

I had a great experience working with Nathan to secure an apartment. He worked with my schedule and was prompt in his responses. He took me to two other apartments that I wouldn’t have requested to look at because I would have assumed they were out of my budget, but they were not! I ended up choosing one of those, and am so excited to move in tomorrow! This was a pleasant and straightforward experience (so rare when moving!)

I worked with Sharon Levy on renting an apartment in Chinatown, and I could not have been happier with the outcome - or with his performance along the way. Fantastic and clear communication, no-nonsense style and the way he came through on what he'd said he'd do. I have worked with real estate agents in the past who I always felt were trying to somehow get one over on me; Sharon was realistic about how what he committed to, and came through on every point. Typical bait and switch realtor in NYC. The broker Nathan Gulkar was incredibly unprofessional, do not waste your time. He changed the time that we were supposed to meet three times. When I got to the apartment he was 20 minutes late. I called and texted him, but he did not answer. He was supposed to show me three different apartments but only had enough time to show me two and wanted me to meet with him AGAIN an hour and a half later because he had overbooked. The apartments that I wanted to see looked nothing like the pictures, they were disgusting and horribly maintained. There are tons of brokers is on the upper Eastside, stay away from this one.

*Update- The only reason I was contacted was because i called the office and was hung up on then they want me to take down my review. Second, it was not a matter of “opinion” regarding the apartments. The broker refused to show me the apartment I originally contacted him about saying he had others that were “better” and the others were dilapidated. All of the photos online were photoshopped and staged. The actual units are unlivable. Feel free to check them out and see for yourself.

Sharon at Alpha Properties was the agent for the apartment I now live in. The apartment is immaculate and a great deal. It checks every box. I fell in love with the place on sight and Sharon worked so hard to make it happen for me. He was kind, considerate, and a great communicator. I would recommend Alpha Properties and Sharon Levy specifically to absolutely anyone looking for an oasis in NYC. Thank you so much!
