She not only did a phenomenal job with altering my dress in record time she even suggested putting a bustle on it to make sure I wouldn’t rip or destroy the dress. From the moment I scheduled an appointment and walked in, everyone was so cheerful and excited to assist me for my alteration. They are very clean and speedy in service. Marva E, there are no words on how to thank you enough for your kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail for my dress. You made my sister and I smile all throughout the process and we are blessed. She used to work at Pronovias right around the corner for many years and was humble enough to recommend me to get the dress dry cleaned with the acclaimed J. Sheer company. She made adjustments to let out the sides from my underarms to my middle waist, added a bustle and added fabric for the jacket. She asked many questions if it felt comfortable and never felt rushed. Before coming in I was nervous but that all faded after meeting Marva E. This was such a smooth process I still can’t believe I was in and out within 30 minutes for the first 2 fittings! You can’t even tell the difference from the added lace to the original I am amazed at how she did this! Thank you ALTS for you accommodating my several rescheduling requests (as I was away on holiday for a family emergency and upon returning had the flu) and wonderful patient staff, you have a true gem working for you she’s a rare seamstress! Will definitely return for future projects with her and I definitely recommend any bride to come here and prepare to be stunned!

Marva is a miracle worker! I stumbled upon alts looking for an expert tailor on Google and I REALLY lucked out. I brought in a couture gown I last wore when I was 17. I wanted to wear it to a winter wedding, and had a vision of adding an illusion neckline, sleeves, buttons, ect. In a brief consultation, Marva made me feel like my vision was completely possible and I knew I was in good hands. She was so polite, accommodating, and just a pleasure to work with. Her work speaks for itself. She is truly an expert and I’m confident could make any vision come to life! She is gifted. The end product exceeded my expectations. She can make any dress from scratch or any upgrades you want! Needless to say, I’ll be back to see Marva with another project soon. She also did this whole thing in 3 weeks.
