Ambiance, Roslyn Heights NY

Decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, it was the worst blowout I ever had in my life. It was by a "junior stylist", so fairly cheap, $30. However, he used a metal brush and a fan with such high heat that it damaged ALL my hair. He literally burned off all my hair (and sadly ears). I've had good and bad blowouts before, but never one that burned my hair so darn bad. It will take months if not years to repair the damage. 2 stars because the shampoo lady was very nice.

Outstanding! I started going there about 8 months ago. Dana for Color & Anna for haircuts. Best color & cut in a long time. I couldn't be happier

When I think of the word ambiance and a place of business I think of calming, soothing, relaxing. However that is not what I received here. I am nurse and I happen to visit this place because it was apart of a job assignment. I had to control myself from developing a panic attack. I debated if I should write a review but I honestly came home from work so upset that I decided to do so. I was treated less than none. Even when I ask the front desk a question regarding if the bottle at the desk was hand sanitizer she replied so snaringly and kept staring at me the whole time while I patiently waited for my client to get through with the appointment like I was some kind of freak show. I understood my audience. I was not welcomed there. I get it! I felt automatically judge despite wearing scrubs and a professional ID. It was just very uncomfortable. 2023? Do better!

Every experience at Ambiance is a fabulous one! EVERYONE ON STAFF is incredibly talented and would recomes Ambiance to anyone looking for a SOLID hair salon! SHOUT OUT to Robin and Heather for always accommodating me, to Yianni for ALWAYS giving me a fantastic haircut, and my blowout buddy Dylan for always being on POINT with my blowouts/extensions! #ambiancesalinandspa
