Americade Inc, Queensbury NY

Americade, led by Christian Dutcher, has organized a motorcycle convention for years, that brings tens of thousands of visitors to Warren County each year, and the revenues that coincide with such event. This year, amid the pandemic, the community reached out to Mr. Dutcher, as an event organizer, to put together a February program, to help salvage plummeting reservations and revenues. This was caused by the cancellation of the Lake George Winter Carnival, because of COVID 19.

Mr. Dutcher delivered a program and a product that was beyond anyone’s expectations. With only weeks to plan, and a very limited budget, he was able to bring the business community and vendors together, develop a web site, schedule fireworks, and setup an efficient online ticket sales and commerce system. This brought thousands of visitors to the Lake George Region in February.

The result was winter revenues were saved, for many hospitality businesses, because of his efforts. This allowed continued employment for many and capital improvements for businesses. Fort William Henry would highly recommended Mr. Dutcher, as an organizer, for any event planner, nonprofit organization, or municipality, that has an idea, or is planning to hold an event, and need help organizing it.

Lake George was busy, bit not as much as past years. Warrensburg just up the highway had better prices, a little less annoying with over zealous cops. And travelling through town was a lot more coordinated.

Where to begin.so much to do.almost every vendor has demo rides, plenty of great rides in the area (both group led or alone). The vendors selling motorcycle good are wonderful.great speakers on a wide array of subjects.wonderful concert in the evening.and now right up the street is DirtDayz which is a set of events specifically for the dirt / off-road rider.too much to do in a single week!

If you ride a motorcycle you need to experience Americade. It's huge and well organized. So much food, activities, rides, bike demos, and bikers everywhere. The locals love the Americaders and there's a lot of non-bike stuff to see and do in Lake George area too. Best time ever!

Americade is the best bike vacation ever! So many people and so many dfferent kinds of bikes and so many different types of activities and events. My favorite is the test rides on factory demonstration bikes. Then there's the music and food that creates a festival atmosphere. When you look at the schedule it's really a bargain. My favorite events are the stunt shows and the Electric Light Parade. Next time I'm going to check out the Dirt Daze events. Can't wait until the first week of June!

Americade was much the same as prior years. A great place to visit. Attendance seemed down this year, less vendors and "the forum" not in use as in the past. This does not bode well for the future.
Lake George parking? The village officials might want to lower parking fees or do away with them, not only for Americade but throughout the season (s). They are driving me away, They are driving others away. $ 2.00 an hour? This is not NYC, it's upstate NY where we come to spend money. I'll pass next time. Americade Owners? Take note, advise the village they are forcing you to consider another venue!

Amazing - most beautiful scenery on guided rides. You'll need at least 3 days to see and do everything!

There's nothing like it. More things to do than time to do them all. Most riders have no idea of all the activities at Ft William Henry, in addition to demos from most companies. For the dwindling # of folks who aren't too lazy to read, take a look at Americade's schedule page. You'll be amazed.

Woo hoo. Harley Davidson. What's not to live. These people dedicate themselves every year to pull off better and better Americade every year. I don't even think they break even some years.
