American Brass reviews
17Great restaurant and staff. Our server was on point the whole time me and my party of 10 were there. All the food and drinks were fantastic. I have seafood allergies and was offered alternatives for appetizers and entrees. Parking is difficult, but available if you are patient, I'm not so I paid to park in the garage around the corner. It is well worth it for the quality of this restaurant.
Food was absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect. The best part of the dinner was the drinks.
FANTASTIC!
GINO AND HIS STAFF ARE ON POINT WITH THEIR SERVICE.
THE SMOKE SIGNAL IS OUR FAVORITE COCKTAIL.
SERVICE WAS ATTENTIVE AND FOOD WAS DELICIOUS.
LOVE THE LITTLE HEATED GREENHOUSES.
I PERSONALLY FEEL 4 PPL AT MOST FIT IN 1 GREENHOUSE COMFORTABLY.
WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR DINNER HERE AND LOOK FORWARD TO COMING BACK.
THANKS AGAIN GINO!
My partner is in a wheelchair and every time we’ve gone, staff is very accommodating and kind. The manager and bartender in particular have always been helpful and made us feel welcomed. Fun cocktails!
The food at American Brass is good American food. I’d recommend the burger or the steak. The tartare was good. On the other hand, the lobster pasta had only a few raviolis. Happy hour is good. It’s good American food if you’re into that.
Good place. We were lucky to get a table on a Saturday night so I would highly recommend making a reservation. Food and service were excellent. Decor is good although the tile on the half side of the wall is a bit questionable and reminds me of a bathroom wall especially with the mirrors. It was kind of loud since a group was having a private party but considering it wasn’t a separate room perhaps the music can be a tad lower so as to be considerate of other folks dining and wanting to converse with each other overall it was a good experience. Will give them a try again some time.
I live next door, I like this place a lot. They have TVs but they’re always off. If I could watch games here I’d pay their cable bill just will how much I’d spend.
We had a good time at the American Brass restaurant
We’re we’re seating immediately with a view of the city
We had the salmon Tartare, salad with chicken breast, the salmon main entre and the lobstart agnolotti
Specially the salmon Tartare is high recommended
In dessert we tried the coffee Ice cream and the carrot cake
Both are high recommended
The Chianti in red wine is also recommended
Definitely a place to visit when you are in Long Island /queens area
Delicious brunch! One of the best in NYC! They also make their own IPA which is good. The caesar salad is delicious. Only thing which is a hit or miss is the service.
The food truck across the street killed it for me.
Nothing special. Definitely not going back.
Parking? Forget it!
Sadly a total mess. The staff was nice but very busy. We had to ask for a setup three times. We had to cancel part of our order because it didn’t show up. The food was mediocre. Ended up not feeling well.
OMG!
I'm in love with this Restaurant. They really go out of their way to make customers feel special. My dear friend from college and I were celebrating a belated birthday together. We have known each other for 30 years. Well, Michael at the front desk warmly welcomed us in his lovely pink shirt and let us know his Mom is a Lioness too! Our waiter Jose was great as well and gave us suggestions and kept checking on us. We had the grilled octopus, the garden salad, pasta with mushrooms, and the broccolini- ALL DIVINE. And we were sent birthday drinks and carrot cake on the house to celebrate. I WILL be bringing family and co-workers to this establishment for sure. The only bummer was those trucks across the street. They are effectively messing the View ALL the way up! Can we work on getting them to move at least during sunset hours and in the evening so folks can look at the NYC skyline and water? !
Thank you, Michael and Jose! Whoever owns American Brass PLEASE acknowledge the Superb service of these two humans!
I had a great dining experience at American Brass. Amazing decor, great service and the food and dessert were delicious! Definitely will be back!
Great service very nice atmosphere the live band was very enjoyable the food was delicious and the drinks were strong and tasty definitely recommend
I had lunch with my brother at American Brass this past weekend and the experience was excellent.
The food here is as a good as it gets - I got the Dry Aged Burger for my entree and it was awesome. It's easily one of the best burgers I've had.
The service was also top notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.
I'll definitely be back and I can't wait to try more of what the menu has to offer.
Highly recommended.
Food was great. Gazpacho was on point. I did not care for my waitress. She was not attentive.
Service was fast and efficient, didn't even have to ask for a straw for our 2 year old, they took it upon themselves to bring out a plastic cup with lid and straw. They also had high chairs or they could make space for a stroller. Food was also excellent. The oysters were very delicious, and the the calamari was cooked very well.
