Not a credible organization in the slightest. They are hypocrites in light of theyre own values and should be ashamed of themselves. I cant believe I had a thought of donating to them in the past when there are so many more better places to donate to propagate real action. This non profit is a complete disgrace to humanity as a whole and should suffer for improper actions.

This organization once defended the First Amendment. In case you have forgotten what the First Amendment says, it goes like this: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. ” They have lost sight of this mission and is undergoing an identity crisis. They need to get back on track or change their name. Such a sad loss.

I decided to leave/will a sizeable portion of my estate to ACLU. My bank requires addresses and tax I. D. #s of recipients. I tried to contact the NY & MD offices for a tax# for 3 weeks and never got a callback or e/mail. I understand donations are usually split between the nat'l HQ and donors' state branches. I then called my contiguous states (Penna, DE, VA, WVa, plus DC). I reached WV first, and used them.
