For a high-end steak house, they should not overcook a $75 strip steak. I ordered it blue, and it was medium well. The place was packed and very loud. I ordered a vesper martini, and it tasted watered down. There are better steak houses in NYC at better prices.

Nice environment, service was excellent.

Skip the salads and Apps- go for an extra large ribeye, creamed spinach and potato puree.

This is a well regarded steak restaurant. The dry aged bone in steak and NY strip are very good. There are also a comprehensive list of wine. Slightly disappointed that we had to wait for more than 45 mins to be seated at the table, considering that we already made an advanced booking

BEST BONE IN RIBEYE I EVER HAD! Everything that came out of the kitchen was delicious, quality, i will come back & recommend this place to anyone, A1.

The Porterhouse steak was magnificent, besides the service was excellent and attentive in spite the place was full, great cocktails as well

Cut was great! The service was attentive but not overwhelming. All of the steaks were made to the right temperatures. I had the lobster Mac and cheese, and it was creamy and delicious. The biscuit was my favorite.

I had high hopes, but waited almost 1 hr past our reservation time. The appetizers came out relatively fast, but the mains did not come out for another 1.5hrs after sitting down. We ordered everything when we sat down, except the server kept disappearing. The serving staff was at least friendly. I can’t really talk much to the food because by the time the food got there I was either way to hungry to think about taste, or way too tired to care about food.

They have some positive reviews and are supposed to have good food, but I would say to only go there if you make a reservation earlier than you actually want, and are prepared to stand at the cocktail bar for 1hr.

I visited this place for a work celebration.
Place was fun, cozy, spacious, food was awesome, customer service was awesome, ambient was awesome, music too, the hosts were super energetic I wouldn't be able to do their job lol.

I had pan seared salmon. Loved it but I felt it was missing a bit more salt. Crusty on the outside and moist inside, cooked to perfection.

They had plenty of entrees, I couldn't name them all since I was a bit buzzed.

Excellent food and a good wine list. The staff was great and everyone was having a good time.

I haven't been here since before the pandemic and unlike all of my other favorites which were not the same, this place is still just as great. The service was excellent and so was the food. I can't wait to go back again.

Great place, amazing atmosphere, food was amazing. I had the Lam rack which was so tender and juice I will go back to the steak.overall food service was yummy. Be ready to spend some money but it is worth it.

Great service. Great Old Fashioned. Great steak. Perfectly cooked. Lobster Mac was great. Jalapeño mash…meh. Bacon appetizer was great. And, what was also amazing was we had a great bartender, who apparently also is a fantastic operatic singer. She sang happy birthday twice during the night and it was terrific! Go if you can

Our reviews had over 14 million views in the first 7 months of 2022. We do not get paid we just love to eat and have fun. We really loved American Cut. We went pre-theater and it was fantastic she had the chicken and I had the bone in ribeye both were cooked to perfection the chicken was very moist and had a lovely brown sauce on it that was extremely good when I ordered my steak the server recommended that we get all five sauces which I did and all of them were delicious I highly recommend getting the entire flight of sauces it really changes the experience and makes it wonderful. We had the mushrooms which were great with fried onion rings on top and we had the Jalapeno mashed potatoes which we really liked. They were not very spicy but spicy enough to be fun. It was my birthday so we had the famous cracker jack Sunday which was very good and we were treated to a opera quality birthday singer see the video attached to this review she was excellent and really had no business working in a restaurant she should be on stage. The prices were right and the room was lovely they have a gigantic seating area upstairs plus a private seating area down in the basement they have another full bar and a gigantic slew of additional tables which they may use for private events or which they open up on weekends there’s also a very large bar upstairs you can eat and all the bars as well highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. Friendly greeting from the start. The corn bread and regular bread excellent start with Cakebread wine. The spicy lobster app in broth and bread extremely flavorful. My bone and ribeye cooked to perfection and excellent service. Great experience!

Great meal. Service super friendly. Brought us out a free dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Will be coming back. Strip steak and salad were great.

This was a superb dining experience, from the stellar cocktails to the perfectly-cooked steak, to the service details that went far above and beyond any expectation of being noticed or tended to. Even the simplest-sounding menu offerings were unique and excellent. We'll definitely throw this place into our rotation of spots to return to!
