Needed a new upright freezer fast on a Friday evening after ours failed. After striking out at all the big box stores (lousy customer service) we got in touch with Rob at American Freight. Even though he was going to close soon, he got a freezer ready for us to pick up as soon as we arrived. We got in and out in 10 minutes. Thanks Rob!

Called the store on Fuller Road, spoke with Joe. He was super helpful assisting me with trying to find replacement parts for a kitchen table set i purchased a while back. Amazingly he tracked them down for me on that same day! Thanks Joe!

Fine place. With good prices for what they had, didn't have a huge variety of items. (example no big tables, but a wide variety of small ones. Same for couches.)

I ordered a couch that unfortunately did not fit perfectly in my living room. I went to the store and was easily able to exchange it for something smaller. Joe was great. He didn't give me a hard time and made my unfortunate, stressful situation much better. I picked out the new couch and it will be delivered in exchange for the other couch in less than a week. Very happy with the outcome and my experience here.

If I had one complaint is the delivery process and arrangement with the third party delivery service. I was supposed to receive my furniture on a Tuesday but found out Monday when I called that they didn't have me on the route. When they came the following day, they weren't very careful maneuvering through my doorway and didn't try to arrange the pieces where they should be so I was left moving them on my own. They day of delivery they tried increasing the fee from what I was originally told and one cushion was damaged from grease from their truck. Luckily, Joe had no problem exchanging the cushion for me (although we ended up exchanging the entire couch due to size).

Just wanted to say i purchased a dining room table and a couch from the manager i believe his name was Joe.
Joe was very friendly and helpful and was very knowledgeable on any questions we had. I would recommend stopping by and enjoy the same experience we had. Ty Joe

Omg the worst customer service ever. The guy is isaiah is the worst and doesn't know how to deal with people. All he cares about is his commission. I will not be going back here i will be visiting the location near walmart which has the same exact items for hundreds of dollars less and the fuller location can but wont price match because they want more commission. Ooo yeah and the delivery! They dont have a real delivery team, so they have an outside company that uses uhaul and its only once a week and if that day is full u will have to wait another week. Who waits 14 days for funiture from stores 15 to 20 mins away from your home. Ridiculous!

The appliance selection and purchase is fine. However, their customer service is strongly lacking. Confirmed delivery date and time, they didn't arrive but also didn't bother to let me know they wouldn't be delivering. I was told it would come the next day before noon and the item still wasn't delivered and no call to let me know. It's like once you purchase the item they want nothing to do with you. It hasn't been a pleasant experience and I won't be purchasing from here again.

Absolutely the WORST place to do business, HANDS DOWN! ALL employees are rude, lazy, useless waste of space! DO NOT RECOMMEND! This place will never see another penny from me or anybody I know if I have anything to do with it! This is regarding the Fuller Rd location!

We go to store to get bedroom set. We like one set price was $1099.

Person who worked there told us it's $1199 and price go up. We told him price listed is $1099. He was so rude he start yelling at us I am only one who is working here, I don't have time for that.

We get out of store he came behind us with hammer and so abusive to us. He was not apologetic at all. Call the customer service about it. No one called me pls don't go to fuller Rd American Freight that person is crazy. I love the customer service of Washington Ave people who work there really good. But this is my first time go to fuller Rd Albany NY store got worst service ever. Never want to go back there.

Ordered a mattress and frame on a Saturday. Store manager advised it would be delivered the following
Monday, did not provide a time frame. At 7: 30 pm I called the store, they had to track down the delivery person and would call me back. I did not receive a call back, I called Tuesday morning and was told my items were never placed on the truck Monday and it would be delivered later that day. Tuesday evening still did not receive my items, I called AGAIN and was told they had to track the delivery guy again. I called back and was told the delivery guy said he was done with his route for the day. I am still waiting on my items and this business has taken my money! Never again will I buy anything from this place.horrible horrible customer service. If I could give zero stars I would! Word advise go elsewhere for your furniture needs!

If I could give them negative stars I would! Talk about miserable employees. I was promised a delivery on a Tuesday. The salesman told me that the furniture would be delivered between a window of 8am-6pm all day no contact from them. I called to confirm and the salesman answered and started arguing with me and being nasty and sarcastic. He said he never said that and that the truck broke down and won’t come until the following Tuesday which is unacceptable! Also he made me wait an extended period of time before he got my items off the dock. The sales guy is miserable and wants to take out his anger on customers. Buyers beware!

Worst experience I’ve ever had with retail. They are complete liars, would rather lose a $2000 sale than follow through on delivering the item that was paid for and promised over 4 separate delivery times and STILL waiting for item to be delivered. Steer clear of this place! They aren’t worth the headache and asinine customer service. I’m appalled!

My daughter order furniture there two weeks ago and they said it would be delivered today (5/1/2021) ; the day she moved into her first apartment. They did not give a delivery time and suggested she stay in the apartment until they get there; which should be round 6pm. She constantly called all day today and the woman answering the phone said she could give my daughter any information. It is now 6: 40 pm and they still don't know where the furniture is. They've already taken they money but won't give her information about her purchase. So wrong and terrible. Never again.

Terrible experience no communication they don’t hold up to what they say /offer no delivery when they said furniture would be delivered they gave me an old set almost a uyr later I’m waiting for replacement they have no idea what’s going on no manager no general manager returns calls INWILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WOTH THIS COMPANY EVER IN LIFE AGAIN

American Freight in Albany is currently holding my money hostage and I’ve called several times and can’t get a hold of anyone. I keep getting that I will get my money in 5 to 7 days and it’s been a month. The product I ordered did not exist and they still processed my payment. I’ve tried every possible avenue and they still have my $3k.

Great customer service and friendly staff. Steven and Caitlyn were extremely helpful in helping me pick out a new sectional/bedroom set. 5 stars!
