I'm not sure why this organization has a "fire relief" division. They are useless. My house had a fire in my basement (where I live) and basically American Red Cross pretty much told me they could not help me relocate. I decided to use my own network.which was more useful. SMH Terrible. You're better off contacting a church, friends and family before calling American Red Cross.

I got my CPR certification here. I'm amazed with how calm and easy this class was with. Also so informative. I highly recommend this location.

My daughter signed up for first aid/cpr sunday morning online and classroom course. Waited 20 minutes outside ringing bell, nobody answered. Phone number posted on door stated facility was closed, could not reach anyone for information. Horrible horrible experience. Will have to wait and deal with this on Monday morning ehen facility opens again. Terrible lack of communication.

I recently had a house fire that totaled the house at 2am, the fire marshal called Red Cross and asked them to come help us. I am grateful that they came and gave us what we needed for the next few days; deodorant, shower gel, a razor, washcloth.stuff like that. They also gave us a debit card loaded with some money for a hotel, and stated that it would not be the final amount, and that if we called in a few days and asked for more help there would be a great chance we would receive it. Well since then I have spoken to a representative peter king multiple times, and it’s always the same call “oh how are you guys doing” and then I tell them not good at all because dss is taking forever to place is somewhere. And then then he just says he’ll call back in a few days to check back in. We’re down to our last night now and have no place left to go, and they basically just said we already helped “good luck at dss”. I really feel abandoned by these people after watching everything I own burn. I’m 23 and rented on my own without insurance, and now I have nothing or nobody.

Back around 2003 I had a neighbor who had to go this dump for community service from the court they actually charge you and send you across long island awful thankfully legal aid stepped in and put an end to the nonsense fines fees a wild goose chase it's all about money.

The cpr class started at 9am but there was a car crash and horrible traffic any direction that I choose to go there. I arrived at 9: 20am. I tried calling their number multiple times to tell them that I’d be late but no one answered. Upon driving 40 minutes from my house, they told me that I can’t join the class. They also said there are other late people who can’t join either. I left my house way before the scheduled time as well to plan to get there early. Absurd, and it doesn’t say this in their policy about cancellation either.
