Americas Best Value Inn Central Valley reviews
6Place was clean, updated, shower and mattress great. No in room coffee pot, Kleenex box or continental breakfast, decent towels or fitted bottom sheet.
This hotel has clearly been renovated since some of these comments. The rooms are very clean and honestly I had a great night's sleep and really enjoyed the fact that the bathrooms are spacious, clean, everything is new, and have a real window for fresh air and natural light. It's the little things. However, if you arrive late do be prepared to have to wake up the front desk, the gentleman was sound asleep and snoring when we arrived and slept through the bell and calling out hello. They don't pick up the phone either. I just went behind the desk and woke him up, it worked.
Overall a great experience for a roadside motel!
Stayed here with my husband to attend a wedding nearby. We wanted a reasonable room because we were only going to be getting ready and sleeping there. For the price point of this ‘hotel’, we expected more. We were running later when we got there and only had 20 minutes to change for the wedding (NYC flooded and the weather was terrible). They gave us cards to get into our room but they didn’t work, it took them 2 tries of going back and forth and they told us that you had to ‘lightly’ swipe up and down. Why not give us another room where it actually worked?
The room was very run down and had a weird smell to it. The floors and surfaces had a weird texture and we were unsure if they were actually cleaned.
The staff at the front desk were nice and greeted us when we were there, but in all honesty I’m not sure if the price point is worth it and I just wish they gave us another room because we were running terribly late.
NOT RECOMMEND to make a reservation if you are planning to do late check-in. I did this mistake, and when I arrived there was no one in reception, doors are closed, nobody answered at the phone call, door bell is useless. I paid for nothing! And it’s not refundable
We stay here when we go to NY Renaissance Faire or plan a trip to NYC.
It's a good motel for the price. Rooms are newly remodeled & generally clean. Staff isn't always the friendliest, but never mean.
They haven't had anything but coffee or tea at breakfast since Covid & before that it was bagles, cereal, & fruit.
Luckily, Woodbury Commons is just down the street.
We usually eat there for breakfast and dinner.
When we go to the City, we park & take the bus from The Commons. It's a lot more budget friendly than staying in the City.
There are other eating & shopping areas nearby as well. The location is ideal.
Rooms were dirty, stained carpets, cracked sheet rock, poorly plastered holes, nothing was wiped down. Dirt on the molding trim overall its was dirty and not kept up, the carpet had a stain in it and it felt sticky when my bare foot touched it. All the furnishings were beat up, chipped and looked like it belonged at the salvation army, no they were worce then that I wouldn't insult the salvation army, it all belonged at the dump. I regret staying here And should have spent $50 bucks more and had a nice hotel.
