Americas Best Value Inn Plattsburgh

Got the single queen room. Room and furniture are a bit worn/aged but no serious issues. Clean sheets/towels. Staff was a 10! Especially housekeeping. They treat it like a brand new hotel. My go-to place for plattsburg now.

Clean room (some rooms are getting renovated now), nice lady at the reception, everyrhing close, a lot of restaurants and stors close.

Definitely not Americas best value. Would say its a motel type place. Did have a clean room but would recommend not walking barefoot on the carpet. Felt 7/10 safe.

Bedspread had at least 4 cigarette burns. Comfy though. Had the same room as a previous reviewer. Jetted tub didn’t jet but it was nice to have a huge bathtub. It’s not the Ritz but it is saltines.

If there was a way to give this place zero stars I would. Chunks of human hair all over my blankets and sheets on both beds. Crumbs and stains on all bedding. Pet hair all over the duvet, along with clumps of human hair all over the shower, sink etc.

BEWARE! They have either bed bugs or use detergent that give you hives. Either way, they don’t bother fixing the issue or even replying!

Bad experience, looks in bad shape, no maintenance, my room smells real bad to cigarette. That was not a 300usd night experience at all. Unfortunately, nothing was available at that moment.

If I could give 0 star to this motel I would. Worst hotel I’ve ever been to I didn’t even spent the night there and left. The smell was absolutely disgusting it was literally impossible to stay in the room and even after the staff gave us another room there was still the same smell. Please don’t waste your time in this motel there are so much better motel out there.

Way way overpriced, stepped on a broken crack pipe in my room.homeless people from dss live here and harass people for money and cigarettes and booze.the ppl that live there in the hotel try to steal out of ppls cars.

Good place to stay a night when we are traveling.
The bed are not so good, the room is large enough for four people (we were only 2), there is a fridge and a microwave in the room.
People at the reception are friendly and always here to help.

Overall the experience was very poor considering the cost of the room. The room was not clean the bed had dirty socks underneath from whoever stayed there before. Ants crawled out of everywhere. The bathroom door didnt close the beds were so soft they collapsed in the middle and sagged to the floor. For the price of a night at a Hampton you could stay here and experience a budget motel.

Dirty, unsanitary, un cleaned rooms. Rude and un professional management and employees. Moved from a bed bug infested room to a un cleaned room. Blood on bathroom floors and walls. Moved chair in bedroom to find over 20 dead battles. Has bed bug infestation and moves people in rooms next door, doesn't inform anyone of the problems. Will never stay or recommend to anyone EVER!

The shower pump was attached with plastic, no bath towel to wash, a lot of insects and very humid I do not recommend this hotel

We booked a non-smoking room with a jacuzzi tub. The lobby was nice and staff was friendly. However, when we got to our room it reeked of smoke. Then we noticed the bedspread was covered with cigarette burn holes and yellow stains. The tv was very old and the remote was filthy. Final straw- the jacuzzi tub didn't work. We checked out immediately. Staff was helpful checking us out without penalty. Will not return. Hotel we went to next knew what place we were referring to without us naming it!

We booked for one night of Qui for shopping. When we arrived the receptionist was so dumb and depressed.after 12 signatures and initials.we finally got our room. The hotel was empty and we were at the other end of the complex on the second floor (not super practical with all our shopping bags). Wifi hardly works. It is impossible to connect our Apple tv since the tv is too old. We paid extra for a room with a whirlpool bath.the bath motor blew up. A dream experience.

I wanted to try a new hotel in the area. This looked very cute from the entrance and the lobby was a “log cabin” feel. The lady who checked me in was pleasant but has a very “rough” appearance. We got to our room #225 and the spider webs in the door way were a little gross. We went in and the room doesn’t look anything like the pictures as far as furniture goes. Very out dated. The door didn’t close snug but it locked and had a chain lock. The dresser was very old and needed to be tossed out along with the furniture. The tv didn’t work. I called the front desk and she came to our room. I went to use the bathroom which seemed like it was updated. The issue was bugs everywhere. Under the vanity, I the corner by clothes rack and floor and carpet. I turned the air on and it smelled bad, moldy. When the lady came to get the tv working I told her about the bugs and she said sometimes they get beetles. These looked more like bed bugs. She said she would go check and see if another room was available. When she left I got on my phone and booked LaQuinta down the street. The new hotel i stayed at before. It’s beautiful. I went to the front desk and said”I’m sorry but with lol the bugs in the room nd they were flying round I’m not staying here and I’m. Not paying for anything “. She released my funds and I’m now in a gorgeous hotel- LaQuinta. In Plattsburgh NY.
