Americold Logistics Syracuse

Sometimes it seems to me that Americold is trying their best to be the worst shipping company. They charge big fees for being late, but they can keep you for more than 3 hours. If they paid drivers for lost time they would work better. I've had loads here many times over the past few years and it's always been terrible. Due to the fact that they do not have enough people, drivers suffer. I have been waiting for loading for almost 4 hours and now I will be forced to drive all night and risk my life while they go home and sleep. They don't care. It is a pity that the management of the company does not care about this.

Limited ON parking, plenty of space to docks…. But the worst experience possible checking in…. The ladies are extremely disrespectful with drivers…. The superiority treatment with drivers is offensive…. No courtesy…. No good morning…. The worse attitude

Arrived 2 hours early and was back to a door and before my appointment time I was unloaded and gone

Missed appointment.had to sit for the whole day while they worked me in. I was there over 8+ hours.they were friendly but not in any hurry.

Overnight parking, and plenty of room. Arrived at 0730 for an 0800, and was put into a door immediately.
Open doors, back in, and wait.
0700-0800 loads receive priority.
They have a sign that says such in the check in office.
Staff was pleasant.

I'd come back again.

I don’t know how they got these start at all definitely won’t be coming back here came to my appointment time waited 3 hrs to get a door and they said there is still 2 truck ahead of me with same appointment times and i was here before them now they saying i have to wait till they load them first what a place

Worst company ever. I wish i have stayed home instead of coming here. No management, they want you to come here by appointment but then they don’t respect your time. If you are late they won’t accept, if they are late it’s still your problem. SLOWEST worker ever

Appointment time 10 a m, checked in at 830. Given door at 11ish…. It’s now 2 and I’ve been empty for an hour or so. USDA straight pull. Pathetic

So today was my very first time delivering a load here! I was very impressed! My delivery appt time was for 11: 00am, arrived @ 10: 25am checked in and was given a door right away! Guy came out 20 mins later cut my seal and was backed in. I was unloaded by 11: 45am with my paperwork signed in my hand! The lady in the office was very nice and friendly! To be honest I was surprised I got a door right away there was a lot of truck in the yard waiting! Little tight for backing into the docks but they have plenty of parking! Also have a Dunkin Donuts on the corner of the street! Would be very pleased to deliver here again! Keep up the great work!

I don't like this place. They don't care about people. I arrived 2 hours prior my appointment. I got a door because a driver didn't show up at his appointment. They took 2 hours to unload me. When it's done they refused to give me paperworks. I have to wait for her call. The lady said she doesn't have them yet. She can't make miracles. Other white drivers that showed up after me got unloaded and their paperworks signed and gone. That looks racism to me.

Came in 2 hours before appointment and have been sitting for 5 hours now. Will now be late to my delivery appointment.

Wait time is a big issue here.
They will give you the dock but you will wait several hours after your appointment time to get unloaded.
Saving on labor force cost while undermining your customer service

The worst place to be at. The recommendation for Truckers is to avoid it at all costs.will waste your entire day

The guard is always very nice. He relates to drivers very well, and appreciates our time we spend in our trucks. The receiver wouldn’t take the load early, but the attitude the guard had when he relayed the information to me was very professional, and polite. He even mentioned something about all the space they had that could allow them to accommodate changing live unloads to drop trailers. This is the only time I have left a receiver, and felt like someone there was at least kind of on the side of the drivers that bring loads there.

I parked overnight and had a noon appointment the next day. I checked in at 7: 10 am and was in a door by 8: 30 and empty by 9: 15am! Staff was very friendly.

Broker dropped the ball and didn't reschedule so the delivery appt was the day before we even picked up. They worked us in the next morning. Quick and pleasant experience

Appointment was at 1100 didn’t get a door until 1400. It is now 1600 and I’m still in the door not even being worked on. They have over 50 doors in our only using 10. Avoid this place if possible.
