I have been dealing with these folks for a few years now. On one occasion I had an estimate for "fix" the roof on my Jeep, it was expensive and I decided to go here. Amherst Automotive found the problem, ordered the part, and saved me a lot of money. On another occasion they gave me an estimate to do some repair work, then when I got the bill they cut the price because they found less expensive parts. Honest and trustworthy is how I would describe them. November 2019. I had another issue when a check engine light came on. John checked and cleared the light and told me if it came on what the problem was likely to be. A week later it came on again, I took it in and John fixed it. Another issue recently, they took care of it. You can really trust these guys!

The tires I originally purchased were not performing the way I wanted them to (I.e. No traction on wet pavement). Amherst Auto worked with me to find a good fit of tire and made this process less stressful as I was dealing with a family emergency. They were very easy to deal with.

Went to Amherst Auto for new tires. Justin got me right in at my convenience based on openings. Price for my tires was great and the job was done quickly and correctly. Highly recommended.

These guys are great. I took my Yukon in for a noise, Justin and his team diagnosed the issue (pinion bearing on my axle) and worked with me to get the repair done as cheaply and efficiently as possible. Once the repair was complete I had a small leak from a new seal, Justin took care of it immediately at no cost to me. I’ve also had these guys do a fuel pump for me on the same vehicle. I’m an automotive engineer, it takes a lot to earn my trust, these guys have earned it multiple times over. Great team. Great shop. Great owners.

I went in for an annual inspection and unfortunately needed tires. Luckily Jon was able to order the tires and get them on quick for the same price as the competition, including the cost of inspection. Excellent work, honest and affordable too! I’ll be bringing my business here from now on!

Amherst Automotive has consistently been a great place to take my cars. As a person who isn't that most well versed in car repair they've never made me feel stupid and have always treated me fairly. Their prices are good. The folks that work there are awesome. They also do quality work that lasts. I've recommended multiple people to Amherst Automotive over the past few years and plan to continue doing so.

Great service! I stopped in to get a quote for a break job on my GMC truck. Justin fully explained my potential costs, showed me where to look so I could understand what the worn parts looked like, and confirmed the availability of the needed parts. My service was scheduled for, and completed on time the next day. I'm very happy with Amherst Automotive.

My electronic tramsmission failure is what initiated the repair. The issuewas diagnosed as a starter replacement. The job was done timely & professionally. Communication between myself & the customer was fluent & appreciated. The experience was great. Ty to all involved.
