AMR WNY

My father just got a bill for 2600 dollars for my mom's trip to the hospital. They live less than a mile from the hospital. Sheridan Parkside to Kenmore Mercy.highway robbery.

My newborn daughter had to be rushed to children’s hospital and this company never submitted the claim to my insurance company. Instead they wrongly sent the claim to a debit collector. Now I have a debit on my credit report that lowers my credit score. Thanks a lot American medical response

Worst company to ever try to work for. They lie to your face during interview or lie to you when they call/email you. Let me explain my reasoning. Some friends of mine who are very good and experienced EMTs looking for work, had applied or got called and had their resume pulled by AMR of WNY, and invited to interview. They get told on the phone or through email that AMR is hiring FULL TIME EMTs. Not part time. Not a vehicle service technician. They go through the interview after showing up and waiting with other candidates as a group interview, even after being told to be there at a certain time for THEIR own interview. They get pulled into an office with 2 or 3 people and asked a series of questions. They then tell you the position they ACTUALLY need or want after lying to you about what they brought you in for. They are supposedly understaffed and in need of people, yet don’t hold up to their word. Hopefully they don’t lose more employees. Maybe they should give people a chance

I have been riding with these guys and girls for 7 years I have a chronic illness and the other day I was done with living so I thought. I had the pleasure of a EMT worker S. Avery who went beyond the call of duty he brought me back from a very dark place and made sure I was okay and I am, lets just say because of him I am here and able to write this review. S Avery thank you so much you are a very very awesome guy keep doing what you do as for the rest of you guys and girls that I have had the pleasure of knowing outstanding job thanks for all that you have done and still do it not a easy job yet it has to be done and you guys and girls do it so well you make it look easy, over all really want to say THANK YOU.

Today they took my mom to the hospital and they made fun of her complaining about her pain. It is disrespectful to my mom or any other patient. I want you to take this complaint seriously and tell me what you are going to do about it because I understand that you should take letters in this matter with those who did this since no citizen should suffer from bullying in any way and at a time when he feels powerless for not feeling well in health.

I called because I was in sever pain waited 20 mins called back and was told it was going to be a while and I should have just called 911 also told me they would rush one over to me because the dispatcher could hear the pain in my voice over an hr went by and they only called me never showed

I called them obviously in an emergent situation and the dispatcher told me they were coming. An hour later I called for a follow up and they said my call was on the board. Another half hour goes by and I call 911 as the situation escalated and they had never put the call in. Useless people.

I was treated well enough but the bill is astronomical. I will be sending a letter to the NYS commissioner regarding the bill. I am insured but they should not pay this cost outrageous cost. $1886 for a less than a mile drive and no need for resuscitation. 5 stars for the treatment 2 stars for the outrageous rip off bill.

Our experience with AMR employees was they were very kind and took great care at comforting my 10 year old grandson with his broken leg after a skateboard accident at tonawanda park. They were very professional and explained everything to me as they were treating him on the way to children's hospital.
