Amtrak - Buffalo Depew Station

I am getting a ticket that leaves me off at this station and it is sad to see pictures of the station and the reviews - 'didn't interact with staff', 'limited vending machines'. This is the main Buffalo train station? Evidently. I hope 50 years from now we look back on this and see it as the low point for passenger rail transport that it is. No way to go but up.

Omg man yes! This is the BEST train station in the area and super busy with lots of CSX and Amtrak action with rarely Norfolk Southern trains, we are from Canada so this is very cool to see as this was our second Time going here, though we were there on March break it was still very busy and super nice and beautiful train station with lots to explore and do here while you railfan, wait, or just anything you may do! Very clean and well maintained so if I could I would give this 10/5!

Great spot for Railfanning! Station is clean, with washrooms and local tourism information. Freight trains routinely passing through or shunting in the area. Daily AMTRAK schedule posted inside station. Did not interact with Staff who stayed inside Office. Plenty of accessible parking, and room to move around on the platform. Trains pass by quickly - be cautious and follow direction / signage - great sight lines east and west.

Check in was simple. The journey was a disaster with all of the delays. But it's the holiday season so I understand.

It is clean it has enough parking and enough seating. Easier than flying this is just get on and as the train gets moving they will check your ticket and put a little index card above your seat with the train station you're getting off at very easy.

Clean and friendly staff. Not much choices for food. I think they had vending machines. The vending machines were not working at the time. I would advise people to travel with trail mix or something & snacks. I guess there was a store nearby.

The station was clean, the Restroom was VERY Functional. The Announcements were CLEAR. NICE

Buffalo station is also great for transporting. Tain's of rail contain comfort and relexable journey. It also depends on the price how you want to journey, If you think you want to save money the comfort level will less the higher you pay you get more confort ride.

The Amtrak crew have the best customer service I've ever experienced in my life! This station is nice and easy to navigate, too

Picked up my son when he arrived from Arizona!
Less than I expected but serves its purpose. And I'm sure there's a lot of positive energy that flows through there. With all the people meeting and greeting. I felt it.

I arrived at 1am at the station. I enjoyed the coffee vending machine while waiting for über. Old school train station vibe that I liked!

The tracks was very bumpy when we left from Boston departure for a long time. What was that. THE curtains needs and up grade. But the workers were will mannered love there service.

Stations manager helped us so much in snow and cold. The train was on time. Overall service is up to the mark. Keep it up guys

Don't kno to much about this place I've only been here once like 10 min.an I got pick up but it look nice

I only picked up a friend I promised I would give a ride home. As far as I know the friends I have went there for say it's nice and well kept. They have say the staff is nice. Sorry that's all I have.

The station was clean and had several precautions posted about maintaining Covid protocol while waiting for the train to arrive. Also a scan bar code for pre-screening for the train ride was posted inside the station in case you forgot to do so. All staff wore masks and constant reminders for masks to be wore at all times inside the station and on the train. $1000 fine and kicked off the train is definite motivation to keep the mask on. Thankfully nobody was kicked off during our trip. The train was a smooth ride unfortunately I forgot how cold it can be on the Amtrak

Was very uncomfortable in my seat couldn't sleep well but there weren't alot of passenger on the train when I travel going and returning was very happy about that thanks Amtrak
