I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wu’s for several years, and I feel lucky to have found a doctor like her. She is as kind as she is knowledgeable. I always feel listened to, and she doesn’t rush her patients like some other doctors. The office itself is organized and well-run, and it’s always easy to get through to someone if you need to call (a rarity in NYC!)

Dr. Wu used to be a nice doctor. But her clinic has been popular, her attitude became rude and arrogant. Now her concern is only making a money to take care of her face and hair. It a time to move to another ENT Doctor.

First thing I noticed about Dr. Wu, is her amazing beside manner. Second thing i noticed, is that she is very thorough and makes sure all the boxes are checked when it comes to my health. There was absolutely no problem telling her my concerns, she understands fully and recommends treatment options that are within my means and or covered by my insurance. Her staff calls me one week ahead of time, to remind me of my appointments, medication, pre and post-op instructions. If I have any questions, I simply shoot them an email and I hear back from them pretty quick! No wonder Dr. Wu is highly recommended!

I liked going to Dr. Wu because she was gentle, but beware, if you're experiencing any kind of financial hardship, she will kick you when you're down. Not only will she not accept medicaid, but she refuses to give a reduced rate for a self-pay patient. I was charged an outrageous amount of money for a simple check up. She's lost a patient.

For students studying out-of-state, regardless of their age, summer vacation is a good time to focus on going home and visiting doctors for check-ups. This summer my daughter and I visited many doctors and several testing centers. Only Dr. Amy Wu otolaryngology gave us sad and terrible experience.

A lowest and cramped waiting area and sloppy reception made us frown. What surprised even more was that at the third visit, I found my daughter's name in their system was still wrong. That was different from their correct cash receipt. Such a lowest mistake existed over one month. Unbelievably, It took more than a week to just issue a sleep test application to test appointment center only because they use e-fax instead of buying a cheap Fax machine. Her female PA was annoyed about my urging calls and rudely hung up for several times. They were not willing to smoothly transfer medical documents to my daughter's PCR upon our request that day, the reception said previous medical documents had already e-faxed to PCR except that day’s, but in fact We never asked for it that day before, PCR also answered no document he had received before. We had to stay there for 3 hours to waiting for their e-fax but they just gave us a waiting sheet that day.

When I complained solemnly to Dr. Amy Wu, she just mentioned casually misspelling and short-stuffed, no apology and sincere respect. No words to her colleagues. In fact there had two receptionists at front desk and few calls.

Inefficient and cold attitude made us doubt their professionalism and team management. They ignored PATIENT TIME because that was not their time. I would not recommend to anyone, just for your reference.
