Indian Restaurant Anand reviews
18Very good restaurant, we listened to the waiter's advice and we really enjoyed it. There are generous portions and a very nice server. We highly recommend.
Beeeest tika massala. I like many things but the fried cauliflour and the tika massala are specialy delicious.
Great food, loved lamb rhogan Josh, Chicken curry was amazing, service was great and patio lounge atmosphere was a bonus.
Underrated UES gem! Friendliest staff, great biryani and delicious food all around! It was not what we expected when we walked in, much nicer atmosphere than we expected. Highly recommend!
Very poor quality of chat. Lacks freshness. Lacks flavor. Proper curd and imli chatni missing. I am surprised that the chef and owner is not taking a view of what is made and served
Great service on a Friday night, with wonderful aromas, well cooked chicken, and a great selection of beverages
Too expensive, food taste is not up-to-standard. There are so many good restaurants with really great Indian taste. Had an awe full experience here. Please do not spoil Indian food brand name in US.
Best Indian food I’ve had in NYC! Staff was great and super friendly. They also have an amazing outdoor area out back, one of the best on the upper east side. It’s quiet, relaxing and clean unlike the side walk dining everywhere. Perfect for a nice night. Would highly recommend!
I order from here frequently and enjoy the quality and service. Staff are always very friendly. I really like their samosas, the Rogan Josh, and Goan. Nice place for an intimate meal or something casual.
Probably one of the worst gobi munchurian I have ever had. The gobi munchurian costs $10 and they give like 5 pieces. It also tastes so bad. They gravy is awful. Everything about it is so bad I just don't want to even finish it. So not worth $10 I don't know who thought this was a good idea. They put the paneer tikka masala in a container with a broken lid so ofc during delivery, the curry got to all the other items. The garlic naan was fine. The paneer tikka was alright. Slightly hard paneers and sorta bland with really really thin gravy but it was not inedible or anything. Would not recommend this resturant for vegetarian food. I am sure you can find better.
I ask for chicken masala, unfortunately! Brother minor give me tandoori chicken I think this is ok with me but the taste was not fresh, soup was and naan bread was delicious
Very tasty food, great friendly environment
Enjoyed the best indian food in NYC with family
I don't know why this restaurant isn't packed every night. Ambiance, service is great, but the food is excellent.
Super friendly stuff, nice calm atmosphere and very vegan-friendly! The portions are big with fair prices. Would come again any time!
I had biryani. The taste wasn't that great but raisins and tomatoes in it was a complete off. Strangely they don't serve raita/salan with it. Ambience and service was good.
I wanted to like this place after seeing it being rated a 4.4/5. Unfortunately, the only thing I enjoyed was the waiter. The food was just not good. The naan was too thin, did not taste super fresh, and lacked a good amount of garlic. The cauliflower wasn’t bad, but I wish it was more cauliflower and less breading. The lamb biryani was very flashy with its bread pot, but unfortunately the lamb was dry. Lastly, I ordered a dish I got at another Indian restaurant that I really enjoyed. To my utmost dismay, it was the worst dish of all lol. Shouldn’t have gotten it… and I really shouldn’t have went here at all.
The best Indian food I've eaten in my life, the attention is spectacular. Highly recommended, the back terrace is very nice.
