Anchor Bar, Buffalo NY

The wings are good, real good. The bar seen is eclectic with license plates all over the walls and vintage motorcycles everywhere. All in all a good time.

Anchor Bar is a classic spot for buffalo wings. Their wings are flavorful, with a variety of sauces to choose from. The casual atmosphere and friendly staff make it a great place for a relaxed meal. Finally got to visit the birthplace of Buffalo wings.
We really enjoyed the experience and the wings and sauce were good. The celery was a bit underwhelming- but hey, its celery. Even though it looked like service was going to be slow (lots of tables filled and only one visible waitress) Sarah did an excellent job of keeping our drinks filled and order moving.

I have to say that the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very good. The only thing that I find incomprehensible is that one of the female service staff turned a blind eye when ordering or asking questions. However, other service staff who passed by did not have this problem, not sure why, but should be known.

Being first doesn't make you best, but in this case, it doesn't even make you very good. I did like the motorcycles, but not the food.

I really like here. Very good taste! Not salty. Having buffalo wings in other places except for buffalo were not buffalo wings. If you want to try real buffalo wings, I recommend you guys visit here!

I was really hoping that the original Buffalo chicken wing would be worth the trip. It wasn't and the fries were soggy and bland. Too bad. But there is a great wing place in East Aurora.

5 stars for a sports bar. Visited on a Tuesday night. Great service by the bartender, and the wings were excellent. Would visit again!

We were visiting the Niagara Falls and had to stop in buffalo for wings. Our waitress was super friendly and kind. The restraurant was very clean and the atmosphere was great. It wasn’t super busy on the day we went and for some reason they had the 4 tables worth of people all crammed into one section all right on top of each other. It was super awkward in an area that was fairly hot compared to the other parts of the restaurant. Other than that it was great.

That fried chicken I had for lunch was so crunchy and yummy I just can’t stop thinking about it.

Good environment, fun decoration, amazing wings, great blue cheese dip. Glad we could stop here on our way back to the airport.

Food was good especially the wings. The fries are basic cut fries. The soda is RC soda which I haven’t seen around in years. Prices are not bad. Needs a little music.

Only here because it’s the Original, the food itself didn’t really stand out. You can get much better fried chicken wings elsewhere. The wings are a bit too dry, I had the dry rub one the rub are not even attached to the wings then I had to dip my wings try to get some flavor on. And my plate only comes with 9 wings instead of 10. Didn’t send them back because it’s always a bad idea to send back you will never know where your next plate is coming from.
Get a seat by the bar or near the bar around, it gets the service pretty fast.

Since we crossed the border from Niagra into Buffalo, we had to go to the original home of the Buffalo wing. It was so cool to see pictures on the walls of famous people who had been there. I highly suggest having the regular Buffalo wings, the honey bourbon wings (our favorite) and the honey garlic wings. Can't ever go wrong with wings. Food came fast. Really sweet waitress, and you can have a cold RC Cola too! Would eat here again!

The sandwich was a big portion and it came with a side which was a bonus, and it can add 5 buffalo wings (with an extra cost). The atmosphere reminded me of a riders cafe on route 66. Overall it was a nice dining place

Fun, iconic Buffalo eats! Great wings! Friendly atmosphere and service. Lots of memorabilia to browse!

Food wasn't bad. I felt the wings n fries were under a warmer for a while. But overall, it wasn't bad. Service was amazing!
