I have seen Dr. Petelin as my primary care physician for a decade. He is a person that listen to your concerns and can answer your questions so you understand. I have many issues and contact Dr. Petelin a lot between my appointments and he always respond by the end of the day or earlier if he have time. When you have a problem he always make sure he find a solution even if it’s outside what you normally see him for. Both Dr. Petelin and his assistant goes the extra mile to make sure you get the correct treatment and if you need to be seen urgent and email his assistant always respond quickly and make sure you get seen. Can strongly recommend Dr. Petelin, you get a team that goes the extra mile for you.

Dr Petelin is a top tier professional.
He asks me questions and actually took the time to LISTEN to my answer and I could literally see him evaluating and thinking through what I was saying to find the best way to treat me.
And, he personally followed up with a telephone call.
All I'm saying, I'm glad that person canceled their appointment so I could see him the next day after looking him up. But, if you have to wait, he is worth it.

Dr. Petelin is my PCP and is great. I've had mixed experiences with other Mount Sinai doctors, but Dr. Petelin stands apart. He cares about his patients and will respond to inquiries in an expeditious manner. He will also check in every so often to see how I'm doing. Would highly recommend him.

Very very good doctor! Wait time was maybe 5-10 mins after my appointment time. The MyChart app is very convenient for check-in, getting the labs, and the doctor's notes. The doctor did a very thorough exam, asked lots of questions, all the while telling me what he's thinking. Could not ask for more.

For all I know Dr. Petelin is a fine doctor. However, I have no idea because his practice somehow failed inform me that they do not participate in health exchange policies despite the fact that they are listed on Empire BCBS as an eligible provider and on ZocDoc they show up as accepting exchange policies. A clerical error on their end that they failed to inform me about until I had already come in for my appointment, weeks after it was made. Completely unprofessional.

Dr. Petelin is a wonderful doctor! I'm so happy I met him when I needed it the most. There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am to get across a highly professional doctor.
