Andrew torregrossa is amazing. I had my beloved mother's services there last week. The care, attention to detail, and patience that was demonstrated was immensly appreciated. This also wasnt my first family.member that had their service done there. My dad, and aunt also had their services there. I would like to Sylvia and staff for everything that they did to help this difficult process go smoothly.

From the moment I called Torregrossa to the moment I laid my grandmother to rest, Sylvia and her assistant, Charlene, were with me every step of the way. They handle my family issues and disagreements with grace. I kept apologizing for the mishap while they kept reminding me that it was ok and to stop apologizing. I appreciate their service and will forever use them. I highly recommend Torregrossa Funeral Home.

This review is months overdue, but I intend to make all of Brooklyn and beyond know and understand how amazing these people are, and although it can initially seem strange to write reviews for a funeral home, this one in my eyes the best professional, dedicated, supportive and emotionally empathetic group of people for any of your funeral arrangement needs. This review specifically is for Sylvia and Charlene (I think I have her name spelled right!) I had to put together for my father abruptly and it fell on my shoulders really to do so. They helped me navigate the daunting task of figuring out the financial affairs, and also helped when I had to deal with some unfortunate familial woes as a result. I recommend them to EVERYONE, whether you're in the trig-state area or beyond. These are good people, and your loved ones will be in stellar hands.

There are not enough words to describe the outstanding service & professionalism from Torregrossa & Sons. Losing my fiancé was the most painful & traumatic time of my life. Sylvia made the process less stressful with her patience, compassion & care. She helped put my mind at ease so that I could prepare myself mentally & physically. I cannot thank Sylvia enough and I have the utmost respect for her. Roy was extremely thoughtful & made sure that I took deep breaths on the day of the service. Joe was very kind and helpful along with Archie whom brought me such comfort on the first day. I thank you all! My Fiancé’s farewell was with honor & dignity & I will forever be grateful. They are very good. Did a excellent job with my dads funeral arrangments. Sylvia is amazing to work with. She is definitely kind understanding listens and will assist with anything you need.

I can’t recommend Torregrossa enough they handle my mother‘s passing with dignity, love, care and respect.she was presented very nicely they worked with us through the whole process and we’re in constant communication from beginning to the end their whole team from Sylvia the funeral Director Charlene, Roy and all of the extended staff team that worked with us from the funeral home to the church to the cemetery, ensured that we and our mothers body were well taken care of. When our family experienced one of our saddest moments, we turned to Andrew Torregrossa & Sons.
We called and later visited. We were greeted warmly, they were supportive and patient as we explained what we wanted and perused the place and their price list. There was no pressure (which we really did not need at the time). And all of this transformed into the most beautiful viewing, with a mass and burial that were not only dignified, but quite memorable.
I fully recommend this place.

Ms. Sylvia was an amazing support to me and my family during such difficult and uncertain times around the world. My grandmother unfortunately passed away during the pandemic and we were at a loss for how we could proceed with funeral arrangements when there was such a backlog of services everywhere. Ms. Sylvia, a family friend, swooped right in and made this process seamless. She reassured us and updated us every step of the way. She made sure that my grandmother's remains were handled with grace and dignity, like the woman she was. When my dad and I went to pick up my grandmother from the funeral home on Flatbush Ave, she made sure to personally transfer the remains in the urn for us. Roy was working at the time, and he was kind, courteous, and professional, offering to help wherever he could. I thank them both profusely for their compassion and I appreciate all that Ms. Sylvia has done for my family. I highly recommend this establishment!

Sylvia was nothing short of amazing. During the hardest time in me and my siblings lives she was an absolute blessing. She was patient, she was kind and most importantly she was knowledgeable. Even with the existing restrictions the service was beautiful and my family and I are at peace.

I cannot find enough amazing things to say about Andrew Torregrossa and his staff at the funeral home. The handled the arrangements for the passing of my best friend and every details was attended to flawlessly. My friend look identical to how he did prior to becoming sick and it gave everyone an immense sense of closure. The chapel was beautiful and well-decorated. When I first met with Andrew, I was utterly impressed with how he walked me through the funeral arrangement process carefully, meticulously and patiently. When I stepped away to use the restroom. I was again impressed by how spotless it was. My first thought was: if they pay this much attention to the upkeep of the bathroom then my best friend is in great hands. Once I planned all the details with Andrew, literally everything beyond that point was seamless and fluid. My best friend would have been proud of his service and send-off. Thank you, Andrew.

My family is so glad we decided to have our mom viewed at this funeral home on June 20th, 2019. The Funeral Director, Sylvia was AMAZING. She treated us as if she knew our family, she was very empathic, very knowledgable and very organized.
