Angel of Harlem reviews
21Wonderful food, Music could be a bit lowered in volume, very hard to converse when you are old! Drinks and Food great! Service fabulous!
Coming to Angel of Harlem for the first time is like finding something you never knew you were missing and needed so badly.
Exceptional atmosphere, incredible DJ, next level service, and delicious menu!
This is a nice place, but the food did not have much flavor. And they served me warm water to drink.
Everything was great, the music was a vibe & the food was delicious. I love in Pa and wouldn't mind traveling just to come back for dinner
Dj was lit AF. Food was good, and the unlimited rum punch was on point. Book a party here if you can.
Strong and flavorful cocktails. Really liked the Jamaican chicken patty with bonus yucca chips served with it. Was odd that they brought all the nacho toppings on the side when we just asked for the sour cream on the side.
Been a couple times for brunch and dinner.food and service always great.drinks are delicious and worth the price. & of course they know how to turn up.love it
Never ate at the place. They were nice to me, enough to eat there, buying other people's food and eating it there.
Loved all dishes our table had. Shrimp and grits being the best! The plantain hash was way more than I expected.and I would totally reorder the kale salad. The rum punch is refreshingly good, and worth doing the bottomless option. But continue to keep your eye ️ on the waiter when the crowd grows.to get your refills. Service started out a little rocky, but definitely got better once we were seated. Loved the brunch crowd and music vibes. Will definitely be back!
They have a late brunch.got there at about 4: 45 and the crazy crowd has dissipated. Shrimp and grits were good, ordered a few extra shrimp. Careful with asking for cheese on the grits because felt like I was eating a pizza.too much. Over all very good! My friend had the steak and eggs, I believe it was a NY strip. She said it was good!
Angel of Harlem is an AWESOME after work spot to unwind. The music is great bartenders, waiters are friendly. The food and drinks are superb. Highly recommend Angel of Harlem
Had a fun time. Food and service was great. Live DJ during Saturday brunch at 230pm playing all the hits. Felt like the club but in the afternoon. Drinks were good too.
Food and music.great
Our server seemed a lil preoccupied. And our bill was suspicious.
What an experience! We did not make reservations and arrived at 12: 30pm on a Sunday, we were immediately taken to a table. Service was great, no issues. I ordered shrimp and grits, and it arrived shortly after I placed my order which was good because, honestly, who wants to wait an hour!? Lol. The shrimp and grits was an excellent choice, the grits were tasty and the shrimps were tender and well seasoned. AOH does play music and guest are allowed to dance. So don’t be afraid to get up and move! Overall I had an excellent time at Angel of Harlem and I would return.
The atmosphere is lovely. The food is Aamazing and the staff is great. Always a good time whenever I come here.
Loves it! Someone told me about it came from Jersey to have brunch and I will be back and bring other with me! The atmosphere was GREAT every time my drink got low the waiter came to fill my mimosa back up. Food was Great too but next im gonna more.loooool if you haven't been and thinking about it stop and RUN AND MAKE A RESERVATION!
First time here for dinner and I love this place! Atmosphere is super upbeat because the DJ is on fire! There's plenty of outdoor seating, waitstaff was attentive without being intrusive, food and drinks were delicious. My favorite menu items were the pecan crusted salmon, garlic spinach, and mac & cheese. Not every restaurant gets mac & cheese right, but this place does. Looks and tastes homemade, not some spruced up box version like many other places. The bartender knew what he was doing when he mixed the Caribbean Queen and Dark & Stormy. Some of the best adult beverages I've had.
Minor detail.the music is LOUD. Did you hear me? L-O-U-D! Don't even think of having a first date here! LOL! Now, that could be the "auntie" in me coming out, but my party of four all agreed that we wouldn't have been able to dine indoors with the level of the music. 7pm on a Sunday looked and felt like a Friday/Saturday night. We enjoyed our outdoor seats. As long as outdoor dining still exists, or maybe if you come a little earlier, you'll be fine.
Definitely a place to relax with friends and and enjoy great music and delicious food & drinks.
Great food, music, vibe, and service. I had the lobster ravioli with the Henny pina coloda. When in NYC again I will definitely return.
Decent brunch with great atmosphere. We caught breakfast here during a DJ set. Food options were good and prices were competitive. If you're going to go bottomless cocktails, make sure you drink fast as there's a time limit. My only complaint is there's a huge bar and a lot of booze flowing, therefore a constant line for the bathroom.
