Animal Kind Veterinary Hospital, Brooklyn NY

Last year, they recommended that we have our cat's teeth cleaned. The vet ordered blood work and a stool sample and told us that we were put on the waiting list. Not only were we never given the results of these tests, but we were also unable to reach any of the vets on multiple occasions throughout the year to schedule the cleaning. We brought our cat back for her annual today and the vet told us that not only were we not put on the waiting list in the first place, but now our cat needs three teeth extracted, perhaps more. Last year, she only needed a cleaning. These tooth extractions are entirely due to their medical negligence.

I’ve being taking my pets to Animai Kind for 14y and I’ve never ever had any sort of problems with them. The doctors, techs, whole staff are always kind and attentive.

Animal kind have been taking care of our 'children' for years now. 3 cats and a dog at this point. Excellent, compassionate care even when facing the most difficult of decisions.

Animal Kind is an excellent Animal Hospital. The most experienced vet there is Dr. Michelle Werner. She is meticulous, extremely experienced, smart, and caring; she knows my 5 cats so well and all their histories, she rarely needs to consult their records.she is so popular, and well loved it is difficult to get an appointment with her so schedule early. You will be very happy you did.

The veterinarian who saw our dog was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. We have been going there for years and have always been satisfied.

Been going to Animal Kind for over 15 years and i never had any problems. Dr Gibson been treating my pets for years and been very happy with the care they give my pets.

Both our cats, Jackie and Robinson, see Dr. Williford at Animal Kind. She is caring and sensitive and serious about the business at hand - the heath of Jackie and Robinson. Couple other notes: clean office, prompt with appointments, professional and very kind front office staff. We've had very positive experiences at Animal Kind for 14 years now. Wow, how time flies!

Terrific care for our pup. They're on top of all the meds he needs and have great advice when a small or large problem pups up. Always get back to me in a timely manner when I have a quick concern even when it's between visits.

Amazing vets and vet assistants but I can’t help but take away 2 stars for the attitude at the front desk. I was genuinely perturbed by the curt responses to the point that I am considering switching my designated hospitals. It feels like I cannot get optimal care due to the woman at the front which is a shame since I’ve had nothing but good experiences since I’ve started coming here.

Absolutely horrendous and unprofessional services here. The vets and the techs are not in the same page. They inflate prices TREMENDOUSLY, and the receptionist desk people are rude and unhelpful. Hard to believe these guys are still in business. Do your pet a favor and DO NOT USE THIS VET SERVICE.

I’m so grateful for such an attentive and warm veterinarian in my neighborhood. Dr. Witherell has been looking after my senior Brussels Griffon for several years: she is thorough yet low-intervention. She even advised on how to make his food at home, which has improved his health, happiness and longevity tremendously. He is 16 and going strong! Thank you Animal Kind ️

Animal kind has always gone above and beyond for my pups. When I had an emergency they made time for me to bring my pup in to be seen. They are every thorough and you will know exactly what you need. The doctors called me frequently while my pup stayed overnight for his situation but I never felt worried or as though I was left in the dark. Animal Kind is now a 30 minute walk from me but I will make the effort to go back since the service was so great.

Only four words “you are the best”. They are professionals, with excellent actitud, respectful, compassionate, with a lot of patience, and a clean place. I will never change clinic. I really want to thank your whole team, starting from the front line receptionists and including the people we don’t even see. You all together make the difference.

We called at 9 am when my dog was experiencing symptoms, and were seen by 10 am right on time. Everyone was kind and had a great manner with my dog. My appreciated.

I have received excellent care in the past from Dr. Witherell, Dr. Williford, and Dr. Schoenhut (no longer with the practice), but the office staff is terrible. I have to fight with them to schedule appointments, call back multiple times just to speak to someone to schedule a procedure. This last time was what made me decide to leave. I have called 5 times over the last few weeks and left messages for the office manager who schedules procedures. My cat needs a dental and I was inquiring about getting a sedated groom at the same time since he will already be anesthetized. Not one of my messages have been returned. This type of situation is typical now at Animal Kind. I understand they are understaffed and appointments are booked out for a while but you can't return messages to schedule them?

A wonderful animal hospital. All the doctors are very good and really pleasant and very caring. If I could give 10 star, I would.

I'm a little disappointed that I went there for a 2 part shot and was billed twice for both visits.isn't it a 2 part shot? Why bill me for the 2nd visit especially when the vet tech said that wasn't going to be the case
