Apple Upper East Side reviews
20 An apple store that doesn't have no iPhones. I couldn't fine non of the 3 phone I was looking for.rediculas.and the service is sucks. I would never
Go back.
Poor service, no staff, unfriendly “check in” staff.
Poor representation of Apple. Would not expect this from this cooperation,
Go elsewhere or just order online. Don’t waste time going there
Everyone was super helpful and kind! The woman who helped me out was named Amame and was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and informed me of a great student discount. Overall wonderful experience!
Shin Shin was one of the best employees I’ve ever interacted with at any company. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, understanding and wanted to do everything he could to get my phone fixed. I’m really astounded by his professionalism and support. Would recommend the UES Apple store to anyone after my experience — was in and out in less than an hour with a completely new phone for $29.
After 15 years of an amazing experience with Apple, 2 weeks ago my phone did automatic update after which my phone got a bug from an update and stopped Bluetooth function. I went to fix it in two different Apple stores (5 Ave and Madison Ave) in hope one will fix problem caused by Apple itself, the only solution they offered me is to by new phone or new AirPods which are fully functional with 3 other iPhones in my house. They waisted over 3 hours of my time for them to not come with reasonable solution, yet the only one was to buy new phone or new AirPods (my current ones are only 1 year old). I’m devastated, I’m hurt by such huge discrepancies between the prices of the products and costumer service.
Came in early for genius appointment after being misinformed from an online rep - but the UES team was awesome and replaced my Air Pods within minutes.
A+ service, and a cool looking facility as well
I came here with a mission to buy a keyboard and it took a really long time of waiting in line and then waiting for them to bring it up.
So I go in there, dude is like I am not sure but I will ask, they solved my issue then my problem I was like yeah thanks Marcus for that wonderful customer service. Now if I got the name incorrect then shame on me but hey their entire staff was lit and interactive, I totally put effort to mingle a bit.
Location is stunning and my sales associate was warm and friendly. This location offers a true luxury shopping experience befitting the cost of apple products. Highly recommended!
So much better than west side store. 5 min wait and quality customer service instead of half hour wait and zero customer service on west side.
Requires appointment to just buy something, even though half of the staff is standing around chatting. Incredibly condescending greeter. This is a terrible representation for Apple.
Terrible service. I walked in and told them I was there to exchange something I purchased online. Before even checking the lady tells me that this item isn’t in stock. I explained that I called Apple and they assured me it was in stock at that particular location. So the lady checked, and saw it was in stock. Instead of immediately checking to see if they had it she was willing to just turn me away. So after that, she set me up with another member of her team and he asked me for the receipt before the transaction. I told him I don’t have it with me, but Apple said as soon as you scan the item the receipt will show up. He then told me he can’t do the exchange without the receipt. I asked him to at least scan it. He then scanned it and saw the receipt. This location is all about turning the customer away, and wasting the time of their customers. They rather tell you no, without being certain than tell you “let me check on that for you” ultimately that’s why I’m giving this Apple store 1 star. If I could do 0 stars I would.
I had a great experience with this store particularly with setting up a last minute appointment last hour last Friday afternoon at the Genius Bar. Upon arrival, I stood in line when an employee approached me with an device confirming my name and time of my appointment. I was redirected to wait on the line for the Genius Bar, which wasn't long. No later than 5 minutes, Brent was the one to help me with my problem. He was actively listening and engaging with me throughout the diagnosis of my MacBook Pro. He was great at explaining me what was the real cause of my issue with my device not being able to charge. Unfortunately, when I got home I realized my computer was still not able to update to the new OS as I explained to him but nevertheless he was able to provide me several options on solving my initial problem.
Expect to be stopped beforehand to get your temperature checked, and as stated waiting in one or two lines. I set up my appointment at 3: 30 pm EST but was not seen until 3: 40pm which again wasn't long. Place had several sanitation stations, including sanitizer and sanitizing wipes.
Trying to convince my girlfriend to buy an apple watch. After apple soho employee tried to persuade us otherwise saying it was no use, UES Apple didnt even let us try the watch in an empty store trying to give an appointment for 2 hours later. Apple really did some cost cutting on the retail store employees I guess with the pandemic. Never have I ever had this reluctant service, going in with a positive buying attitude and leaving frustrated because the employee didnt feel like working.
10 stars. Short lines. Polite and efficient staff. I went to Roosevelt field apple store. They told me it would take up to a month to fix my macbook. Roosevelt didn't have the part and no ETA on the part's delivery.
I asked them to call around as i NEEDED my computer. I was willing to drive to jersey if I had to. Well Upper east side store had the part and told me approximately 7 days to fix and return it.
One extra star for the bathroom attendant who seemed to clean after each use.
Another star for how beautiful the building is.
The parking gods were also smiling on me as I found a FREE Parking spot between madison and 5th avenue.
Fabulous! I was at the Genius Bar two days in a row. They refused to let me leave without my issue being solved. It was solved! Not only is the knowledge there, but the patience with their customers is there as well.
Just got back to the office from this Apple location upgrading my phone during my lunch break (yes it was that fast and easy) make an appointment! I had the pleasure of being helped by the BEST associate: TIFFANY S. Tiffany was helpful, extremely knowledgeable and most importantly K I N D. I really appreciate her excellence in customer service and will definitely be returning to this location for anything else I need:) Highly recommend.
Made an appointment for 230pm & they made me wait 40 minutes to see a “genius” who took 3 minutes to review my case & request 300 dollars for a simple repair covered under warranty… I called Apple & handled the repair online & it was free. I’d steer clear of this location if you can
Came here for a 3pm appt- waited 40 minutes before flagging someone down to find that someone had opened my appt and left so I had been forgotten. Was promised the next technician. That was over 10 minutes ago and I am still waiting
The appointment was For 1.30 pm. I arrived just a few minutes before that.
Had to wait more than 20 minutes to finally see a very competent “genius”
I am pretty old and handicapped so I asked for a chair or a stool. None available for the longest time! I literally nearly fainted.
The genius who finally got to me was most helpful. The store is impeccably clean.
Surfaces are constantly disinfected by an army of staffers, but I think that more consideration should be given to older/ handicapped visitors to the store.
