Applebee's Grill + Bar, Rochester NY

The restaurant was well staffed and the staff there were surprisingly friendly and helpful!

Never been to Apple ee's before but it was a pleasant experience. Nice food nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Update: Visited for a second time.
Service was a bit messy.
Food was delicious again.

Unfortunately I can't recommend this place. Portions are small, service was poor. Our server didn't pay attention to our needs at all. Atmosphere was loud, babies crying, parents yelling at children, not what it used to be before.

I used to go to this location all the time during school. I haven't been in a while since I moved. I went back and it was better than I remembered. The food was great, the triple chocolate meltdown was amazing and the 2 for "X" price is a great deal. I plan to go back next time I'm in the area.

My husband and I had not been to this restaurant in probably a year. We were surprised and pleased. Service was pleasant and fast, the atmosphere was quiet, although a little stuffy and smelled like old rugs. My husband had the bourbon, chicken and shrimp, which came out sizzling hot and was delicious. I had the chicken bowl over rice that had some sort of cilantro pesto spread on the grilled chicken, yummy. We will be back soon.

I ordered alfredo pasta to go and the sauce was so watery it kept running down my chin. I've had it there before and it wasn't like that so maybe it was the chef of the day
But I was not impressed and that meal was not cheap.

Food was delicious and exactly as we ordered it. As a past waitress and management of multiple restaurants, I am very picky about service and cleanliness. The ONLY things that slightly bothered me were that the tables need to be stripped and resealed (they are tacky due to age and sanitizer), and a little slow on bussing tables, causing slower turnover and a slightly longer wait time.

Altogether, a very enjoyable experience!

Took 2 hours to get seated, orders taken, and to check out. The waiter disappeared out of site with my credit card. Good food though and nice people.

Don’t order ANYTHING to-go here. It’ll be complete trash bc they won’t have to deal with you. But don’t waste your time calling, they’ll just hang up on you, then not answer when you call again. 12: 45p

Our food was great.our server was really excellent. She was Friendly's and attentive. All around great dinner.

Food was good as usual, not a big thing but started with water and asked for a soda but waitress forgot and never brought it. Still a great place and I'll go back!

I used to love going here because out of all the applebees, this one was the cleanest and fastest and had great food. We have been there 2 times this month, and the staff has been really slow. The restaurant has been dirty with trash, not swept up, and the tables not being cleaned they literally cleaned while we were sitting down. The server had our order wrong. After 2 tries, they finally got it, and when my daughter asked for a well-done steak, they gave her a raw one. The bathrooms are disgusting, and there was no toilet paper.

My boyfriend and I went on a date tonight, service was phenomenal, food was fantastic and we left with smiles on our faces all thanks to Dangelo!

$24 special misleading. Only applies to 3 entrees. All 3 contain meat. I wonder if it's worth turning off customers? I didn't see fine print in the ads. I think it's sad when corporate policies negatively impact the fine local staff.

My second time coming to this location and upon celebrating my birthday with family we received Great food decent prices and our waitress was wonderful. By the time we arrived, our waitress had just arrived to work, But she still treated us with care, She also made us feel comfortable With conversation. I wanted to make sure

Bartender unfriendly, slow and acted like she didnt want to be there. Wife's food was not prepared well at all. She got a burger and asked for well done, but it was still bleeding when she got it. We didn't send it back because it took so long to get in 1st place. Place is kinda dirty, I remember it used to be cleaner and a better place to go. I won't be going back!
