UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES
Workman came to “diagnose” the problem for a 95.00 non refundable fee which was clearly explained and agreed to by us. Upon completion of the assessment, the workman explained that he could repair it for about 800-900 dollars or we could buy a new built-in Thermador refrigerator for $12,000. We opted for repair. Two visits later and no repair success, the senior technician said that it’s not fixable and Christina the owner will ”likely” reimburse us for the cost of the unsuccessful repair. Many months later and multiple email requests mostly unanswered by the owner, Christina Mucci, there was a 400.00 reimbursement given of our 1000 dollar payment. So 600.00 dollars later, we now have to buy a new refrigerator!
There are a lot of honorable appliance vendors out there, this one is not one of them. By the way, they have several names to the business:
