Arbor House Inn, Skaneateles NY

Pretty house with nice communal seating areas, but our room was cool on night 1 (this was ok), but it was ridiculously hot on night 2 (heating running non-stop all night). No way we could find to adjust heat and windows did not stay open without being propped (we had to use a sneaker). Only one power outlet worked on each side of the bed and was used for lamps (no overhead light). So, light or phones charged but not both. Ice machine broken, and had to take 5 glasses out of cupboard before I found a clean one. I mentioned some of this to main reception at The Sherwood Inn, they seemed disinterested (I felt they didn't actually want to hear how I felt about my stay) and I barely got an apology.

Honestly, it was fine. Probably wouldn’t stay again, but not many other options around - convenient location and close to Main Street.

I did stay last year in June.the room was ok.no hair dryer.the door was always left open.no bottles of water anywhere in the kitchen.and not a bit of snacks.food of any kind.had to go to Sherwood in for breakfast. I was not impressed.

Very cozy home feel in the heart of Skaneateles, close to everything. The house was decorated for Christmas and it definitely added to the experience. Absolutely loved the jacuzzi bathtub in our room.

Some of the electrical a little outdated and/ or not working. Linens were a tad bit scratchy overall. We were lucky to have the space to ourselves but I can imagine during peak season the house can get rather loud, lack some privacy. Room doors are well locked but don't have a good seal, a lot of light/ sound coming from the hallway. Maybe skip the hotel pack n play and bring your own; our toddler was very uncomfortable in the one provided.

Overall a nice, quiet and relaxing Christmas Eve stay for us. We wanted to stay another night

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and were very pleased with the accommodations. Originally, we were booked for a room at the Sherwood Inn but our room was not as advertised. When I brought this to the attention of staff they were very understanding and really bent over backwards to give us the experience we were looking for. They ended up giving us a the Concord room in the Arbor house and we loved it! The room is huge, has a wonderful jacuzzi tub and was super luxurious!

Nice just asked for a tub staff was not aware tubs were taken out and replaced with stand up shower little disappointed

Clean, cozy and quiet. Beautiful room with a nice big tub and a fireplace.
Great place for a weekend getaway or just a random night during the week like we did.
Winter deals were very well priced and breakfast was delicious!

We stayed in the riesling room. It was stunning and beautiful. Nice patio. Nice jacuzzi. Perfect
