Just moved near here. Dr. Warner and Jason were so great with my dog. She is skittish and they petted her and gave her treats to make sure she was comfortable while she got her vaccines. They gave great advice about ticks which we were unfamiliar with being from New Orleans. Definitely going back!

What a wonderful group of doctors, techs and support staff.
I have been bringing my pets there for over ten years and have had only positive experiences

My favorite place for my four dogs! Have been coming to dr Zuckerman for over 24 years. This is the best vet in the New York area—costly but superb. The facilities excellent, the staff kind and well informed, the doctors fantastically well trained. A wonderful place!

Unfortunately, due to Covid, veterinarians do not do thorough checkups anymore, and get away with it.
We humans can explain to our doctors, what is wrong with us, whereas cats can’t. We got our cat at the Paws Crossed Animal shelter 3 weeks ago. Shelter animals have been known to have a risk of communicable diseases because the animals are brought in in groups. He was in a community room because he was sociable. He is an indoor cat. This is so frustrating.
Vets should do checkups on new patients, or any time they go there, yet when I brought my cat here in 1/18/22, with conjunctivitis, which I told them he had, they treated him for that. Because we are not allowed to come inside because of Covid, even though we are Vaxxed and wear 2 masks, we cannot make sure that our cat is being thoroughly examined. They did not do an examination of him on 1/18; they just looked at his eye. That evening, when he was lying on his side, I saw that he had ringworm too. They could not see him until 1/20 for that. Why don’t vets check the rest of the cat like our doctors do with us and like they did when we were allowed to be in the exam room? I don’t know if he has ringworm anywhere else, or any other fungus.
We should not have been charged an extra office visit fee when he had ringworm that that we did not see until that evening on Tuesday. We should not have to do the thorough examination on our pets; it is supposed to be the job of their doctor.
Otherwise, they were amazing with our other cat, and I would give them 5 stars for her.
Please do not expect us to diagnose our cats, when we are not trained to do so.

Dr Lovisa is the only vet we would bring our dogs to.
We travel over an hour to her office. We have brought our dogs to her for over 25 years. She is a lovely person, but more importantly an outstanding veterinarian. She never misses a diagnosis. As physicians we really can appreciate her amazing clinical skills. Ardsley is so lucky to have her in their town!

My dog received a very thorough exam and I was very pleased with the comprehensive explanation.

I am very happy with the care my cat received when she was unwell. The vet, nurse and front desk receptionists were all wonderful. The communication to me during and after the procedure was helpful and reassuring. My cat was in very rough shape before the surgery and is in great shape now.

My rescue dog has been coming here for a few years since I adopted her. I always found them to be professional and capable of handling dogs but the recent visit was particularly pleasant with a caring and organized manner that the Vet approached our visit. I recommend Dr. Carril to anyone. My introvert dog had no big problem getting the required shots w proficient staff and the doc. Thanks, guys! Kudos~

Spent almost $1,000 on 2 dogs yearly checkup and getting needed vaccines for boarding. 10 days later, received a notice that another vaccine was due on 1 dog and clearly missed 10 days prior. I brought my dog in for the shot and when they called with the bill, they charged $50.00 extra for a checkup. I told them what I had just spent 2 weeks prior and that it is unreasonable. Amanda's response " so I will send this to collections". I asked to speak with Dr. Zuckerberg, and Amanda repeated " so I'm putting you in collections first and then I will give him the message". Dr. Never called me back but Amanda called to say she is waiving the $50.00 but I should find a new Vet. This was my first and last experience with this vet. This was a holy S-.

I transferred my 4 girls (3 cats, 1 dog) to Ardsley Veterinary Associates to continue care with Dr. Carril. We have been happy there ever since. It is less expensive (no bs fees/charges) and we never feel rushed by any of the staff during our visits. Every staff member has been great to work with. They are very honest and transparent. I feel they genuinely care about my girls. Dr. Carril is particularly great with kittens and cats which I had not really experienced before finding her. She was also extremely insightful and compassionate when my fiancé’s dog passed. We all highly recommend Ardsley and Dr. Carril!
