Aria Wine Bar reviews
17All staff are very friendly and nice! Especially Angelo (?) who is from Mexico he was so nice for us! We had a great time for special occasion! We would like to come back for next time
Great ambiance and food. Incredibly friendly staff; look for Venera -she’s attentive and kind. Aplausos to the Latinos in the kitchen. The tiramisu was delicious. I would just say that I really missed Codino’s crostini -pork & octopus.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend their vermentino wine, truffle gnocchi and the rigatoni pasta, though all the menu options are pretty good. The wait staff are all very friendly and efficient. Being one of the popular dinner spots it can get very busy and loud at times. Advance reservation is recommended.
The service and atmosphere are decent, but the food at Aria has crashed and burned. Come for wine, but don’t order dinner.
I had a pleasure to celebrate my Birthday in this amazing place. I loved its cozy atmosphere, caring and amazing staff and low prices. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. And for sure will come back one day again.
I love this place! Food is very tasty, price is good, service is great and a lovey atmosphere! Recommended!
Stopped by here with a friend after a movie, mid-afternoon mid week. Had the special lamb shank risotto. So tasty. The chocolate soufflé dessert was wonderful. Because of the time of day it was not crowded and our waitress was very pleasant. I will definitely go again.
Cozy place to have a glass of wine and a good bite of perfectly balanced italian tastes. You can drop in even on Saturday night. Stuff so friendly, all in a good mood. Definitely a place not to be missed if you come to this neighborhood.
Staple place for a catch up with good wine and light, flavorful bites. Love their salads, truffle Mac, and lamb chops. There are a few of them around the city, you can’t go wrong. Tight seating, but it’s casually chic.
The service was poor and the waiter pressured us to give a tip. We initially did not want to leave a tip but the waiter was looking over our shoulder while we paid and then told us it's compulsory to tip at least 15% in New York. He was very rude and standoffish.
The food was nothing special at all.
I didn't drink but this is one of my favorite places downtown. Small dishes are so good. Goat cheese eggplant amazing
Lovely staff and nice food options, but their draw, wine, was very weak with limited and poor quality options
Everything was very tasty. I walked in with a friend on a Saturday night and they fit us in at the bar. The vibes would be great for date night! We had the lobster ravioli, artichoke pesto penne, burrata and proscuitto, kale salad, and rapini. Also a great cheesecake for dessert.
Very cold place! Bad waiter service - he did not even come and ask if we needed anything or ask about refill drinks! We had to keep reminding him about our orders
! Will not go back to this place
This place doesn’t miss. Decided to go with the specials instead of the regular menu because lamb shank and truffle gnocchi is hard to turn down.
The gnocchi was cheesy, creamy, perfect texture and you could definitely taste the truffle.
The lamb shank came with risotto. A real showstopper in terms of size, very well cooked, excellently flavored in kind of an Osso Buco style. They don’t serve it often, would recommend if it’s available.
We were 3 of us visiting from CA, our local friend took us here. We had a GREAT time. Our server Angel (Angelito) did a great job. Always accommodating our requests. Food delicious. We had great Italian wine from Toscana region.
The restaurant felt cozy and had beautifully dim lighting. Our waitress was incredibly nice and the food was great! 10/10 recommend their Black Truffle Gnocchi.
